Awesome videos Jason....I can really appreciate this current series of "20 questions" vids as I'm just about to take a leap of faith while walking away from a 22 year career, good paying job and starting my lawn care business this spring. I've been watching tons of your stuff, as well as others, for info on everything from equipment outfitting to insurance policy suggestions....and you're covering it all, thanks bro. One question I haven't yet heard your take on is, do you often charge your regular customers a higher rate for the initial cut of the season? Since obviously there's usually some level of extra work involved.

I typically do not charge extra unless it requires significantly more work. I am more concerned about the long-term relationship than a short-term gain. Obviously if it is going to require a lot more effort then the customer should understand that they should pay a little extra the first time

I don't do that kind of work. There is money to be made in many types of work but it is hard to do everything. I recommend that people focus on one or two things

Hello, I was wondering what your thoughts are on using 100% gas rather than the 10% ethanol stuff. Is it worth the extra cost to possibly increase the life of some of your machines?

Listen to yourself go off about payments. You need to do what all the big fertilization company's do in my area. They make the customer pay up front for the whole year. Save yourself the headache how have you not done this already
