Honey, the neighbor is laying on the ground caressing the grass again.

Lol, they like to wander over and ask what I’m doing now, and then give me odd looks.

@@theperfectcutlawncare I like to look over the fence to see what your up to, or better yet watch you talk to your grass, and asked what happened to your putting green. Told you your videos would be more interesting if your showed your cute daughters once in awhile. overall, very interesting.

Can't believe another season has come to an end. Today I think I'm gonna do all my final landscape bed cleanout, along with my last mow/fert before the snow on Tuesday.

Another season done! Sounds like a good plan, just don’t freeze 😂thanks for the support this season, and have a great winter.

Can't believe the season has come to an end. Great job on your videos, editing and of course your lawns. You have set the bar as high or in lawn lingo as low as you can go. Enjoyed all your work and look forward to next season. Have a great off season and holidays. 👍💚🦸

Thank you, Keith. Appreciate that. Was glad to see you get a lawn again; it turned out great. Love the look of the ProVista. Hope you have a great winter, stay healthy and have a wonderful holiday. Looking forward to Spring and see what you have up your sleeve, or should I say cape, for next year. Cheers brotha!

Why not use Jonathan green winter survival fertilizer??
@johngrinnell2 жыл бұрын
This is why I strictly only use a drop spreader

Better option for sure. One day I’ll get there.

Learned a lot from your videos this year. I'm from east central Wisconsin. Glad to see another KZbin creator featuring cool season grasses. Sounds like you are involved in the agriculture industry for your full time job. I'd like to see a video about that if that is possible. See you in the spring.

Thank you, glad you learned something new, hopefully I can keep it going. Oddly enough, I’m originally from the east coast, and was a middle school teacher. I met my wife from Illinois, her dad is a farmer, he got me involved with a grain elevator, which I had I had never heard of before. Did some work their for a few years. Currently teaching at a Junior High.

Much of my SE WI lawn looks like the lawn you want to rip out. Yet , I have been watering, applied Hydretain, fungicide(twice), fertilized with Anderson 16-4-8 and Humichar. We finally had a thunderstorm hit our area this evening. Maybe that will help.

Your front lawn is insanely nice. Outstanding job this year in the lawn and your videos. I enjoy your style videos. I also been using the Green Max putting down 1/4 lb. of N weekly with last app being Thursday night before yesterday's rain event. We are still growing but looking at cold temps this week so might call it a year after today's mow. 🤞👍

I appreciate that, considering you have a banger of a lawn too! Would love to see some more videos about it, ha! First time trying the green max, but it looks good, I like what it offers. We were 70’s two days ago, now we have flurries. Looks and feels like it’s over. Have a great winter, stay healthy my friend and we’ll see you in the spring.

How about applying organic compost?
@theperfectcutlawncare2 жыл бұрын
I’ll do the organics in the warm part of the year. End of the season I’ll do a synthetic quick release while the soil is relatively warm to finish the season with some root growth, and glucose storage for next spring. Source: Fundamentals of Turf Management. I bought the green max as that was available to me a decent price. Cheers.
@brodygoalie2 жыл бұрын
@@theperfectcutlawncare but you believe green Max is a better product for last application vs Jonathan green winter survival fertilizer? To me your going against what should be done? Cheers
@theperfectcutlawncare2 жыл бұрын
As far as I understand a late season N application is better than no fertilizer. For me Scott’s was available and less expensive and it works. I’m sure the Johnathan Green is a fine option. Side by side the results would be negligible compared to a non fertilized area.

Shouldn't you have cut the back grass shorter? and drain the gas out of your lawn mower? 🤣
@theperfectcutlawncare2 жыл бұрын
Lol, can’t afford to burn that gas off. We’ll see what happens with the putting green; pretty time consuming, but fun. Would love to take em’ skiing. Unfortunately I live in the second flattest state in the country. Nothing better than skiing powder though! Have a great winter brotha, and we’ll see you in the spring.
