Here in the U.S., most newer small engines have a low oil shutoff switch to prevent damage so I'm betting that is the same situation with that Torx mower. Great trick with the soda on the crack repair!

And most don't have drain plugs anymore.. the life of the engine is so short, there's no reason to change the oil.. WTF 🤔

My reply isn't here 🤔 Most no longer have drain plugs either.. engine life expectancy is less than the life of the oil.. Good morning Matt ☕☕☕

@@GosselinFarmsEdGosselin I know right? And the little suction devices that go down the dipstick tube are useless.

@@mattthescrapwhisperer anymore, a lot of generator techs use a suction deal for oil changes, but it's a bit bigger and faster than the little ones. They use them mainly because of location and not any room for a drain pan.. and they say it's a lot faster than waiting for it to dribble out.. and wow, now Both replies are here 🤔🙄

Gary I repaired multiple stuff on that way, even fuel leaks and it never leaks again
@MissouriOldTimerКүн бұрын
that was another fairly easy fix.

Yes Vernon, and if he took it to a shop they will charge him double and not going the extra mile to bother with the plastic

That is very interesting to hear, I never know this method will be approved by aircraft standards, wow that is fantastic, I sealed fuel leaks with this method 6 years ago on my Lister and it still don't leak ever since

They are lucky, with it being that low on oil it could have locked up
@jankotze195921 сағат бұрын
Yes Lloyd, I think what saved them is a blocked jet in the carb that prevent them to use it further
