Wow, this was awesome! Another one saved for a later listen. I’m a handyman that offers lawn care and plowing, so I’m booked year round, and lately running around like a chicken. My wife and I don’t get too much time together, maybe go out one or two days a month on a date. But between work and the family life with the kids, which I strictly keep separate, I literally have to plan and schedule EVERYTHING. As Grant Cardone has said “money is the most important thing to me, with out money how can I support my family” I agree to that to an extent, which is why I schedule my family time. And I’m lucky enough that my wife as well, puts up with my s**t season to season. I get customers where I can only do work on the weekends because they’ve had bad experiences with other companies. That’s the way the cookie crumbles and I’m flexible with my customers in that aspect. It gets hectic but without control of what your doing now you won’t be able to get where you want to go and do what you want to do. Again, great video guys. And thank you for the MOWtivation 🤙

Viewing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and on February 25th, I'll add that in regards to winter services, we have been active most of this month as well with frequent icing, snow storms etc.. this winter has been great with the possibility of another month plus of winter type weather ahead. I enjoy the winter months because I have oddles of personal time and when there's precipitation we make oddles of money. Sometimes, while clearing snow, I think to myself, this beats the daily spring and summer grind of monotonous physical activity in those types of strenuous conditions.

I'm definitely an extrovert!! I've been told for years that I have to much mouth!!!😁😁 But in all seriousness, I love people. Truly, there isn't a right or wrong answer! But I truly believe that you have to be a people person to a certain extent to be successful in life and business! This podcast is the truth!!! I'm married. Four years in July, been together for almost 11!

I am most definitely the person who gets pumped up talking to people and motivating people. I am not making crap now, but I know I have tons of skills that I am not getting paid for in my job and I motivate myself by visualizing my future. Brian is definitely informative and the real deal true guy and I respect that and it inspires me. However, I can’t personally relate with the introvert. I take videos from him and you and read and study everything I can. I personally plan to make a slightly different business than either one of you but it would involve landscaping. Thanks for the videos and keep them up! Definitely motivating.

What a great video both of you two together is an amazing thing to see. I can't even get halfway through this video without restarting it because there's so much stuff in it it's really great and exactly what I needed after a very long day. I had to hire somebody and they worked out great I can't believe it it really took a lot of stress off of me and I was able to focus more on the details. But yeah great video thank you I'm sure I'm going to watch it a dozen times

Hey guys, amazing interview. Great stuff discussed, Brian really got deep into it. I'm halfway through it but felt the need to comment. Keep it up guys. Happiness to me is such a roller coaster , no real end goal just the process with many ups and downs. Family is key and of course having enough money to keep the gears moving. I think alot about legacy as well, how my children will remember me etc etc. Keep it up

You really need to do something different when recording your mic. I'm not sure exactly maybe it's clipping, but a $400 mic shouldn't sound that bad.
@keith-kalfas5 жыл бұрын
For sure I agree with you 100% It needs a 2:1 compressor set to medium threshold with a soft knee at - 3 Db. Then a low pass eq bass roll off at 100hZ an a high pass attenuation at 10,000hz with a slight boost in the 250hz and 500hz range. Then, we're going to run the analog signal through a mos fet amplifier with an onboard tube 'for proper even order harmonics and that analog tube saturation warmth of course" but before we do all this, all these channels will be ran as bus channels through my SSL board or maybe my Universal Audio twin channel. Then when we're all done, and just before we run the signal through my Apogee analog to digital converter interface at a crystal clear 24bit @ 192k we're going to apply onboard mastering with the perfect amount of eq, compression and normalization. But remember!... If you plan on this hitting FM radio, you don't want to pan your stereo field too wide past 50%. because the farther you travel past radio towers, the more mono the signal gets!... lol haha
