I am 66. I love watching these lawn makeover videos. You are so right about setting goals. My husband passed away 4 years ago. I was left nearly penniless and on the verge of homelessness because although I lived in a relatives duplex, she was over 90 and would go from “I won’t sell my house until you have someplace “ to “ I’m planning on listing my house “ from month to month. It really stressed me out. Then my mother passed away at the age of 99. Fortunately, her home was a big part of our inheritance and because my brother bought the house, we all received a fair share. I was able to buy a mobile home for really cheap in great condition, buy a car which I hadn’t had for over 7 years, and furnish my home…things are a little tight right now as I adjust my finances, but this time next year I’ll be in a good position.

Back when I was a younger, more able bodied woman, I used to do my lawncare as a way to decompress and mull over whatever troubles I had going on in an effort to solve them. Now that I am no longer able to physically do that, I watch your channel to decompress. I am a 42 year old female with a few health issues. i started watching your videos just to have something calming to watch. After a few months I learned how to use a weed eater and how to mow just by watching. I went out and got a battery powered set of equipment and instead of paying someone unreliable started doing it myself. I have now been taking care of my lawn by myself for 3 to 4 years now.
