Do not listen to anyone except your gut feelings. As long as you don't hurt anyone, follow your dreams. Never give up. You have no Idea how hard it was to become what my company is now and who am I. Failure is not an option, it is one of the many stepping stones that I will prosper from. I do not accept life the way it currently is, the pain is rewarding, the maze gives me instinctive knowledge, the trials and tribulations builds character and strength. If anyone out there understands what I am saying, keep on keeping on because god is building his soldiers right now and I'm proud to say I am one of them. I dont know what my future holds, but I do know I will use all these "bad times" and build up and touch many people. I'm living proof god exists, its just a matter of time until I am ready to share my gifts and tools with the world.

The problem with videos like these are that they're so good, that after watching them you feel empowered, inspired, and determined to make a change and chase those dreams. But that only lasts for a few minutes and you're back to square one. You pull up another video and it does the same thing, it's an endless circle of watching a video, feeling great for a moment and then feeling empty again. That's a habit that needs to be broken. Turning those brief five minutes of feeling great into something that lasts 10 minutes, then 20, 40, a day, a week, a year and so on. I'm working on a 45 minute playlist of my favourite videos with those that inspire me the most. The likes of Tony Robbins and Les Brown, who I've followed for many years but still have lacked the discipline to commit and change my life. This video is straight in the playlist. I'll wake up 45 minutes earlier every day, sit down, close my eyes and listen to the playlist. Memorise it word for word, single out every element and work out what they mean to me and how I can harness the wisdom of those brilliant speakers. I don't want 5 minutes of determination, I want a life time of determination and I want it to start now. This post is my declaration that I will make a change and every week I will come back to this comment, read it out loud to myself and continue to push on, keeping on track until I realise that my potential can be endless. Then, a year later I will reply to this comment with what I've achieved. Not what I hope to achieve but what I HAVE achieved. Greatness is within us all. We just need to unlock it. That's what I'm not setting out to do, today. Carpe Diem

Motivational videos are always the ones that have the most power over me. This video is without a doubt my favorite. Talking about destiny and how it is determined makes a lot of sense to me and to many moments in my life. Destiny, as it is said "destiny is determined by direction not by hope", sometimes only hope does not help because you have to fight to achieve what you want, what will really make a difference in our lives, and it doesn't matter where you were born , where you are today, whether or not you have money, the important thing is to have a plan and follow it. I consider this the difference between successful people and unsuccessful people, because in many battles they surrender, give up, they lose and don't try again, they think that everything is lost, but the truth is that to be successful, the important thing is not to give up, is to keep going, "no matter how many times you fail", look for a new meaning and keep going. During the speech I couldn't stop thinking about my life, since I've always focused on getting out of the poor life I've always been and improving things for my family, especially for my mother, many times I wanted to give up. I threw myself into the course, I cried a lot in the first days of classes, especially language classes, I changed my focus to what I could be and then I realized that what I thought I wanted to be actually wasn't and I fell so in love with English , I saw myself failing, I saw myself with bad grades, I saw myself discouraged and feeling useless, but you know? I did not give up . This was a decision I made in my life which is different from the destiny I had already mapped out. At some point I asked myself the question "Are you satisfied with what you've produced?" And the answer was "no", I wasn't satisfied, and then I instantly started looking to improve, that's when I started to dedicate myself more and today I really want to be an au pair, for example, and I'm going after this desire, this destiny, and so I started talking to myself exactly what is said in the video "I can make this happen", probably a lot of things will go wrong, but I won't give up, I have the idea and I'm going after it, I'm not just wrapped around it until because if I don't go, someone else will. After every difficult moment, there will be a moment of calm and pride, because everything I have achieved will be on my merits and nobody will take that away.

@@onelove440 Oh yeah, it does. The djihadists cutting off people's heads are doing it just for fun, not due to their faith. Same as Christians who are known to be so tolerant towards gay people and so on. I hope you can spot the sarcasm here. If anything, faith is one of the main sources for hatred on this planet.
