Hi Laura, Thanks for this valuable info. I had a document of which certain parts were applicable to one group and certain to other group in my organisation. Can I create a field with which anyone can take the print out the part of the document that person belongs to....

Hello Laura. If I have a word doc that has instructions in it but I don't want the instructions to repeat per Section ID (this Section ID came from a data from a separate database), how do I use the IF statement using quick parts? To confirm, I did not merge an excel document to create a mail merge. Instead, I'm learning how to do using XML fields. I pulled data as an XML report from a separate database. Then I use word to merge those fields from the XML report. If you need more specifics, I can send you a sample. Looking forward to hearing back from you.
