The world definitely needs more like Lawrence. May God bless us with his understanding and love as He did to Lawrence!

Sadly I didn't know of Lawrence until after his death, I have read all three of his books now and would dearly loved to have met him. One day I will visit Thula Thula. What a wonderful man.

What a wonderful tribute to such a wonderful man. Oh why are there not more people like this extraordinary man. I cried when I read the story of how the Elephants paid triubte to him. HOW DID THEY KNOW? It's unbeleiveable! Thank you for posting this video. Who will now take over from him to protect the wild animals? Who will be their voice against the slaughter, neglect and brutality against these great creatures. Good to see Pres. ZUMA attend his funeral maybe he can reach the poachers?

He does have a wife who has taken over his game reserve since his passing.

Thanks so much for the kind words. The Earth Organization is doing incredibly well and I know Lawrence would be proud of our progress. We are very motivated to keep Lawrence's legacy alive. He had such clear and sensible goals that it has been easy to build on them and get the support of others.

Why are people like him so difficult to find these days? First Steve Irwin, than Lawrence Anthony. Good people like Lawrence are becoming as rare as the creatures they fight so hard to save from extinction.

I would have given my extra years to him. Beautiful human. Reckon we must be the angels we seek for the animals on Earth... and Earth herself.

Aparently, the elephants, sensing Anthony's death gathered around his place, and stayed there for two days and starved. 30 or so. Was that documented ? Anyone?
