one thing about tori her AGILITY is masterful the way she places notes and the way she sings is just🤌🏽😍never have I seen her overdo it, she considers every part of the song the instruments, the singers, the melody. she eats it up every time without over shining she never fails to impress me every time❤️you can appreciate every single artist and musician in that room they all did amazing❤️❤️
@Lissa1029 ай бұрын
I don’t think people realize how masterfully talented tori is the way she places her notes and where she takes them and she never over, sings another musician if she’s with another musician she’s never off key ever she’s incredible you can give her any song under the sun and she will figure it out like this song the original one is Shawn Mendes singing the verse that tori is singing, so that means tori had to figure it out on the spot before she sang it, which impresses the heck out of me a good example of this would be her quarantea with tori concerts she did during the pandemic they’re on here somewhere ❤️🫶🏻

This is this most vocal energy I have ever heard in my life :-O The lyrics are emotionally resonant. Jacob masterfully weaves a tapestry of stark, vivid imagery and metaphor, employing a dynamic structure that alternates between plaintive appeals and a reassuring refrain to poignantly capture the profound depths of human despair and the transformative power of unwavering support and companionship, ultimately affirming the enduring hope and strength found in the simple yet profound act of witnessing and being truly seen in our darkest moments.

There's a little harmonic gift at 3:28. What I hear he goes to the Bbm (the minor 4th degree in F major), using it as a pivot chord to sort of modulate to Ab major, ending on Eb, giving this chromatic mediant sound. Anyone else have a different analysis?
@alexreitzmann25246 ай бұрын
@dustycooper For me Bbm11 to Ab to Eb is rather an ornamentation to go to Eb, which is the 7th flat degree leading to F major. It's a sort of V - IV - I of Eb major, that will lead in the end to the root of F major. You can hold the Eb on the 3 chords (11th of Bbm11, 5th of Ab, and Eb maj, and that emphasizes the feeling of Eb, leading later to F Major ;) That's how i hear it

Unbelievably good. Everything Jacob does is through inspiration, imagination, creation, and the unity he is able to create in other musicians and the audience, so that collectively something magical, soulful, and extraordinarily special, is created like an impressive sculpture. There will never be another performance like this one, because of the uniqueness of each musician in this group feeding off one another. Did you catch the bass guitar jamming? Jacob knows when to fade in and out perfectly. Tori picks up on the vibe, and creates special vocals, but you don't hear any amateurish soloing or selfishness in the entire group. This reminds me of what the older style jazz musicians achieved when everyone was in tune with everyone else and they just created. This is a new wonderful genre of music and it needs a name.
