This is where I grew up deans mead remember the doctors and clinic at riding lease I remember getting the bus at the lay by to school the lane that lead to the farm on Saltmarsh drive used to get the bus here to Westbury and henbury makes me smile to see this

Literally took me back to my 8 year old self there. I lived there for a large chunk of my early life. NOSTALGIAAA. Funny it started off me trying to figure out what that old computer shop was called, I just remember being a kid and being able to go in and play Unreal Tournament on LAN. It was pretty short-lived though from what I remember haha.

Born and bred there lived in Stradling Rd until I was 3 then we moved further down the estate in the early 1960s ..went to Lawrence Weston School from 69 to 74

My family moved to Lawrence Weston just before Christmas 1949, so we were one of the first families on the estate. A girl called Wendy Lewis lived over the Co-op in Ridingleaze during the 1950s. I lived in the upper end of Long Cross opposite Olebar Gardens and not far from the Long Cross pub.

I used 2 knock around lawrence weston when I was a kid in the late 80s but I lived in Shirehampton. My best m8 was Anthony clarke and his mum was called sharon. If anyone knows of him or any info on him would be greatly appreciated. Not seen him in years.

Interesting video. Lawrence Weston is my favourite part of Bristol, even though I personally haven't lived there (I was brought up in nearby Shirehampton), I know lots of people who are from the area.
