@@warhamsterful Been there several times. My mother was a lawyer from 2000 through 2007, made pretty decent money, although nothing like the hotshots you see playing legal eagle on the telly. Middle of 2007 she started acting kinda funny, turns out her primary doc misunderstood something from literally a bit over a decade prior, round about 1994 I'm pretty sure, and over the next half year it really started catching up to her. Things... did not go well. She's badly disabled, now, and I've been disabled in my own way for life. We're now both flat broke, and stuck wasting away in this tiny little hick town in the middle of North Carolina. The people here are so backcountry, in that grand old American way (for the humorless: that was _extremely_ sarcastic) that even their thoughts seem to run backwards. There's nothing to do, no jobs, and almost no housing, and there's hardly even anywhere to go anyways. It's _awful_ -- but I can't afford a plane ticket and I don't know how to sail or swim. Believe me, I'd be there if I could, my soul forever pines for a flat in London. Heck, I'd try for citizenship if I could, no joke. But, alas, it's not to be. I can't afford to go on holiday like that (and the politicians would have a field day with me if I did, look up some time what the term "welfare queen" means in this overly weedy cesspool of a country) and it's not like I can get anyone over there to sponsor me in the way I'd have to if I was able to get serious about immigrating. At least there are people like Lawrie and Jago Hazzard and Dale Charman here on KZbin where I can sit at my computer screen and remember the good times and try not to cry.

Awesome Job, Lawrie! Good job on giving this wonderful fella a new home. If, or more likely, “When” the time comes, when Port Talbot Steelworks decide to replace their old Bagnall Shunters from the mid 1950s with the expanded fleet of Clayton Battery Diesel hybrid shunters, why not contact Port Talbot Steelworks about buying one or two of their Bagnall shunters? They are as follows. The Brush Bagnall 0-4-0DE locos, which are numbers 501, its only working one left, plus there’s 506 and 509 which are up for sale, possibly for preservation, or scrap. Cuz they’re small, they may be the cheapest. Plus there’s the larger Brush Bagnall Bo-Bo diesels, numbers 901, 903, 905 and 906, which are all still working to this day, but their days are most likely numbered. They’re probably more pricey cuz they’re bigger, but never say never. If not you, then let’s hope there are railways willing to preserve all these vintage shunters.

Also that engine could use some cleaner in the fuel to help the engine and it needs to be ran for a long time to clean up or it could just be old fuel.
