Ikr? I love the packaging of the products, they really seem to care. And the fact that utensils are sometimes included I think is a really nice touch. Chopsticks or spoons with prepackaged Ramen bowls or like the toothpick with those chicken nuggets. Very convenient.

I just cannot get enough of the convenience store videos. I used to go to Famima before the lockdown happened near my office. I miss seeing the usual staffs there where they'd remember my order each morning. I also miss when my troubles then were deciding which bento or onigiri to get. //sigh// so watching these videos just make me happy when I think back bout the good times in a convenience store.

I used to work at a Lawson's store years ago. In fact, it was in the mid 1970s! Yes! They USED to be a company in the midwestern part of the USA! I worked at one in Solon, Ohio. They folded up years ago and I thought that they were long gone like dinosaurs. I was shocked to see them again in a Japanese anime that my youngest son was watching. I was thrilled to discover that they are alive and well in Japan! WOW! Other than the products and language nothing has really changed! I cannot tell you how good it feels to see Lawson's again. It is just one more reason why I want to move to Japan. Who knows? If I can get proficient enough at speaking Japanese, I may just try to get job there, again. I would almost be like homecoming. LOL

"Menchi Katsu is a drink" (メンチカツは飲み物) or "(insert food here) is a drink" is a popular saying if I'm not mistaken, that refers to a food that is so good you keep eating it quickly, almost as if you're drinking it and not chewing it at all 😂😂😂 I have to agree with Satoshi though, that minced cutlet looks so juicy and delish! 😄😄😄

I'll have to try the beef stew from Lawsons, but very much want to see you try the Family Mart stuff, that's where I go by far the most and it seems to be the most common in Osaka where I spend a fair bit of time every time I go to Japan. But then I mostly go there for random stuff and beer and cigarettes, less often for food to be honest. Ramen and snacks, few beers and some Sake and a few packs of cigarettes is my usual sort of shopping there, sometimes anime minifigs when they have them cheap lol - yes I'm a sucker for useless trinkets in Japan, I have loads of them. Used to have a shelf where I displayed them but my wife doesn't want to look at them as she thinks it's childish so I had to put them away.

Hey guys! Here’s a tip for juicy chicken breasts. When I pan fry it I turn it frequently. I use all purpose flour. Sometimes I use a egg and milk dredge. Usually I’m running behind and just use my seasoned flour. I let it cook for 2 minutes on the first side before I flip it. I get juicy chicken every time. 😁 I’m from Arkansas and the way I fry my boneless skinless chicken is a huge no no in the Southern US but it’s never failed me!😂 I love this little comparison of the 3 main convenience stores y’all are doing. I think it’d be neat if y’all did this more often. I know you usually do comparisons between them I just like how you have set them up to be like a miniseries. 🥰
