Oh no not a spoon in the truck. Hahahahahahaha years ago my sister in-law was driving my wife's car got pulled over and searched for a spoon. The spoon on the floor in the back with white residue on it. They took it as evidence of heron use but let her go. Nothing ever came from it but I'm sure the people in the lab we're like what the hell they brought us another spoon with yogurt on it. I've had two cases, each of which where I was assaulted by the cops, dismissed for lack of evidence when recordings were "unintentionally deleted" and the cop failed to forward it to DHS as required by law. Again, this is a case where a young man with few resources pled guilty to a lesser charge to get out of the other higher penalty charges, (many trumped up) against him. I'm telling you folks, the burden of proof is on the prosecution and many cases where people take pleas would never have been won by the cops in court. My advice is to never cop a plea. Make them take it all the way to a jury trial.

All arrests that the officers made, and the D.A chose not to press charges for. (Pattern of abuse of authority on officers). All complaints against the officers( same as above), All lawsuits filed on police dept. All settlements concerning the police and D. A.. that you intend to use jury nullification as a remedy if appropriate. That once you have all documents and information you are asking for. You will immediately start defending yourself in the court of public opinion, whether thru social media or local news, unless or until the courts issue a gag order stopping you. Then tell the D.A. I hope there is nothing the officer, police dept or this( D.A) office is embarrassed about that may come to light while I defend myself.

It's a known fact in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada that the cops in that town (60,000 population ) have quotas. Every cop must have contacted at least 17 people during one shift of 12hrs. Because in those 17 contacts, they're more likely to get an arrest, ticket or something. They are known to take drugs from evidence lock up, give it to people on probation to sell to other customers but only under one condition that they give the name and address of the buyers and particulars about date and time of transaction of the sale.

WARKONG I’m 59 and also never been in trouble. I am in pain constantly. Chronic pain for years has now triggered uncontrollable anxiety attacks that cause confusion and physical shaking when people yell or are argumentative or confrontational. I would be easily misunderstood as a person suffering a street drug reaction even though no drugs or alcohol would be found in my system. When these attacks occur I would most likely get arrested beaten and abused by younger Afghanistan infused police tactics of today as they would misinterpret my anxiety. I do not understand how the world functions today as I grew up in a completely different society and for sure would not act the way police would consider normal. I doubt he turned it off. It was crackling the entire time. Malfunction more likely. The audio starts with a video. For the reasons you are try to get around to the officer doesn't have the ability to turn the microphone off. Or stop the video.

lee l This shows me several things about you right off the bat. First. You hate police officers. Second, you know nothing about law enforcement. You can make comments about me trying to minimize or dismiss what you feel are dishonest actions by these police officers when there's no dishonesty at play. There was a time in my life when I worked in audio production and had you been listening you would have noticed that his body cam mic was crackling. That suggested me that the battery pack was low and it did not surprise me when it suddenly stopped working. He doesn't have the ability to turn the microphone off. Either the entire unit is on or the entire unit is off. But in this case it was activated when his dash cam was activated. He could not turn the microphone off while the dash cam was on. As far as stopping the vehicle because the female was known to have active warrants it is common policy to verify that the person is actually the one being sought. They will check tattoos. They will check for piercings. As it was the young lady gave a different name than that on the warrant but yet they knew it was her. What if it had been her sister? They might look close enough alike. As it is she gave them a false name. There was nothing criminal or corrupt, a word most of the you use incorrectly, about the stuff. The more you try to make it a bad stopped the more you're going to be wasting your time putting it to words. You're looking for anything and everything to justify your hatred of the police. The driver of this vehicle was driving while under the influence. How about he got down to the next intersection where one of your family members was crossing and he T-Bone them? Then you'd be all pissed off that they didn't stop in for DUI. It's not a straw man argument. It's a legitimate alternative argument. He wasn't stopped because they had a quota. He was stopped because she was wanted on warrants. It just so happens that they do have benchmarks to meet and so they made a deal between themselves at one would take her on the warrants and the other would take her boyfriend on the DUI. No big deal at all but you some of you have turned it into the biggest thing since the OJ Simpson Pursuit. You want to take everything away from these police officers and give absolutely nothing to them. If you don't like this country go find another country to live in. Not every police officer is honest. But these were not dishonest police officers. They observed a truck go by that had a known felon wanted on warrants in it and incidental to the stop the driver was determined to be DUI. How is this a bad arrest? Because you think he turned his microphone off when he can't by design of the equipment? Because you don't understand why it's important for them to verify the warrant? Here's a news flash for you. They could have pulled the truck over and determined that the female passenger was not the one with active warrants but still determined that he was DUI and it would be admissible in court. That is because they would have had reasonable suspicion. You guys and your hatred for the police is ridiculous. I find that it's normally because you've had negative interactions with the police who caught you doing something you shouldn't have been doing. People aren't born hating the police. Since I'm sure you're sitting there reading just waiting for a chance to reply if you even bothered to read it all instead just skimmed through it, go ahead. You're not going to phase me.

If there are two Cops, you have an advantage if you use your Head, if one is just standing around doing nothing, ask him/her for assistance against the other cop, the LAW STATES THAT WHEN A CITIZEN ASKS FOR HELP, UNDER THE LAW IT must BE PROVIDED, REGARDLESS AND THE COP THAT WAS ASKED MUST PROVIDE THAT HELP AGAINST ALL, INCLUDING THE OTHER COP.
