I’ve worked within the government public sector and I can personally say that if you stand by your morals and values then you actually do the “right” things against what other co-workers and higher position holders try to tell you what you should and shouldn’t do, they will turn on you on a dime and make your job harder and impossible to continue working there. No1 should be punished for doing the right things within your jobs just because others want to protect the ppl who are incompetent or irresponsible at their jobs especially when it is a risk to the public.

This case has greatly concerned me as I am in exile for raising negligence in child death investigations since my college thesis 30+ years ago. That "lurch forward" I have experienced many times (+malicious prosecutions and many fraudulent police reports) as one of the many RETALITORY intimidation tactics. The upper crust is taught to silence anything that will "cost them a lot of money" or affect the bottom line of the elite corporations. Example: the police know I solved a Dr Charles Smith Inquiry case years before, and used that to fuel arbitrary arrests when that case was being cleared up in court.
