I was at the BART station once in San Francisco when I saw a man in a business suit who appeared to be very drunk. He had several $100 bills in his hand and seemed to be trying to buy a ticket, but the ticket machine didn't take bills that large. I became really alarmed over this as I had helped a highly intoxicated man to get home once, even calling his wife to make sure he didn't drive home. She came to get him, but she was clearly very pissed off at him. I figured I'd do the same thing here. I told the guy to put his money away before he got mugged and pulled out my wallet to buy the guy a ticket. Then before I could put my $5 bill into the machine the guy said, "I'm not drunk. I'm a cop." I felt pretty stupid. I apologized and walked away. At one point I turned around and saw at least 10 uniformed cops watching me walk away, and I hade no idea where they had been hiding. Several months later I saw an episode of Cops and they were covering sting operations at the BART stations. The "drunk" guy was there but he was dressed differently than he had been when I met him. He did say sometimes people try to help him rather than rob him, so as he said "people" rather than "a person" I guess I'm not the only idiot who tried to help someone and wrecked a sting operation. It makes me wonder, how is this not entrapment? By pretending to be drunk, and flashing large sums of money around, are they not enticing people to commit a crime? It enticed me to do something I would not have otherwise done, and something I really didn't want to do in any case. But I felt, If I don't help who will. And this guy isa going to end up the victim of a crime.

Entrapment is when a LEO forces you to commit a crime you otherwise wouldn't have committed. Example: Cop: You are gonna take this meth and sell it to this guy we are trying to bust or we will arrest you for possession of meth. Cop: You are going to break into this business and plant this incriminating evidence or we will harass your family and impound your car. NOT entrapment: Cop: Okay I set up the fake drug dealing account on instagram and we already got 3 customers to arrest!

You can bet the fed agent infiltration of KZbin is far more sinister. As a programmer, you can directly target individuals, and force a video into the viewer's algorithm. You can literally find the user, then put it directly in their video feed, JUST TO BAIT them. It is no doubt entrapment, at that level.

@@srobeck77 Do you even know what a VPN does? Even a crappy VPN means your service provider doesn't know what websites you visited. A good VPN won't have records of the sites you visited once you're done, or that you were using the VPN at a particular time. In that case the most the authorities ever learn is that some unknown user accessed a website through the VPN. A foreign VPN doesn't have to cooperate with US law enforcement so even if they've kept record it won't matter unless their government cooperates with the US.
