The victim reported the rape Oct 17th, 2021 the day after it happened before he was drafted. The victim mentioned that the city police department became inaction with the case after a while. It wasn't until Aug 25th when the civil lawsuit was filed.

I got a Question for everyone who already claims Arizas guilty. So a girl who strongly believes she was drugged and gang raped for 90 mins n now has many cuts plus a ripped vagina go to the police the very next day to report the incident, get blood work and a rape kit done plus having a list of suspects also sounds like no condemns where used so could also have DNA evidence (remember everything that happened was less than 12-24 hours ago when she arrived at the station). Unless the SDPD completely and utterly failed her which is possible. Do you really think it would take almost a year to make a arrest with that much fresh evidence? There’s cases like this with less evidence and arrests were made in less than a month. 🤷‍♂️

His lawyer hit the nail on the head when he said that based on the facts of the party, everything Matt did that night was not illegal. The DA got the case August 5th and the suit was filed 3 weeks later, giving the DA more than enough time to read it and rule. I'm sure an announcement would have been made had the lawyer not gone rogue but I doubt there will be any charges against Araiza.

When a football team beats another team by over 20 points that's a big win. Watson wins big and that's why he gets more attention. What also helps Watson in the attention category is he was a veteran franchise quarterback, not a rookie punter that hasnt even played 1 regular season snap. The other difference is this is a college party involving alcohol. Not a person who supposedly attacked women in full control of his faculties. None of this excuses Ariza if he did this. But there is a huge difference in fact patterns surrounding each case. If you don't get it now, you never will.
