“Law School does not prepare you for Law Practice”. This is so true, Atty. Tina!! I recently passed the 2019 Bar Exam and in my few months of legal practice, I could say that majority of the questions that are being hurled at me pertain to very specific matters- matters that are not usually delved into by our textbooks and professors. I kinda think I went to Law School so that I could hurdle the Bar Exams. 😅 Pero, on a positive note, gamit na gamit din naman ang mga basic concepts/principles 😅

So I agree with you on a 50 percent level.Law school work prepares you for what is to come it’s same as school and the real world. Real world is hard, and stressful for most people . So if you will, I would say it’s like Being a woman. You are not taught all that you will be facing in your life as a mother, or as a wife, or as a partner, or as a manager, or as a Cook, or as a doctor etc. You Learn to do better by working hard, working smart at the right time prioritizing, time management in Law school is the key as as being a mom or a boss or a worker in a store or factory or on a farm or in a firm. If you are asked for an explaination to some questions you didn’t do in law school, is absolutely normal.This is why using and applying the Law codes, Researching and Jurisprudence would be a great help.Good luck to anyone who genuinely want to be a lawyer to serve. That is what law is about to help people with your knowledge.
