Hi Atty! I'm set to take BSBA Customs Administration in a week's time. It was kind of a last minute decision, since it has board exams and I wanted a fall back in case I changed my mind about law school. I just want to know if it will somewhat be advantageous if ever I decided to be a corporate lawyer in the future, or to engage in other areas of law practice? Only limited schools offer this program, and the subscriptions are devastatingly low compared to other programs under business ad. I would really want to know if this program could give me a good, if not better, shot at law school, as I'm starting to like BSCA for once. Hello please help me answer this question! It is stated in Article 1932 that "If the agent dies, his heirs must notify the principal thereof, and in the meantime adopt such measures as the circumstances may demand in the interest of the latter." However, what if the agent doesn’t have an heir and the principal has no means to know that his agent passed away? Also, this agent passed away due to a fortuitous event and was not declared dead, making him a missing man. What will the course of action be of the government to protect the principal if such a case happens?

Hi! I could do a video in this in the future but the answer to this is quite straightforward: Generally, big firms look at your school and your grades. Smaller and medium-sized firms aren't as strict about your school, so while they do consider it, grades and extracurriculars are more important to them than the school from which you came. :)

For law schools which require students to write a thesis (among others), like UP and Ateneo Law, the title conferred after you graduate is J.D. (Juris Doctor). For those law schools which don't require students to write a thesis, like San Beda Law, the title conferred is LL.B (Bachelor of Laws). Their effect in the Philippines is pretty much the same naman. But if you wanna practice in the US, you'll need a JD 🙂

I've been researching a lot and asking relative lawyers on what pre-law to pursue for corporate lawyer, they said AB Economics and BS accountancy, also AB English can be an advantage
