Sadly Virgin 747-400s no longer operate from Heathrow, been replaced by 787 on some routes but still from Gatwick and Manchester Airports. Virginia Plain, Tubular Belle, Lady Penelope and Mustang Sally have also been withdrawn from service

G-VWOW is still a Virgin 747 but it is now flying for Virgin Orbit as N744VG, still carrying the name "Cosmic Girl".

Virgin Atlantic has put G-VWOW into storage so it will obviously be up for sale soon . Why don't they give it to Atlas Air , NCA ( Nippon Cargo ) , UPS or Iran Air , RNZAF It's only 14.1 years old so it's very young and not quite ready for the recycle bin just yet Virgin should sell this aircraft for $110 Million ( Very Cheap ) New this aircraft would have cost $400+ Million It still has a long life to live and should not be sent to the scrap head #747-400

+Jo Tyers maybe give this aircraft to United Airlines they have a few 747-400s but with PW4000's
