@velroi4 жыл бұрын
@@richlem276 Kita said he wasn't a fan of the motto because it disregards the hard work needed to get to where they are now. Hard work and routine are the foundation of Kita's character and ability - he doesn't have any spectacular moves nor does he play recklessly, similar to Daichi - and Kita knows this. Because of this, Kita is always supporting the Miya twins just in case they make a mistake due to their recklessness (Daichi following up KageHina's quick whenever they failed) This is also seen by Kita commenting that Tsukki/Kageyama's mistake could have been followed up, but since ALL of Karasuno was moving to attack there was no one to do so. Daichi (and by extension Karasuno) sticks the team concept of fighting for the current point, to not look back at the failed attempts and continue to evolve (victory and defeat are just results) He believes that he doesn't need to protect his teammates because they believe in the team concept too. He and Kita are very likeminded except Daichi is always willing to try new things to move forward, hence why Kita was caught off-guard at the Daichi back-attack because Karasuno never attempted that play until this game. The ball flying into the banner is Kita realising that Daichi doesn't believe in the motto either - but not in the same way as him. The full-team syncro may be "reckless" but it's Karasuno's style of volleyball - a style that they will live and die by. *They attempted another syncro despite failing one a few plays beforehand* Karasuno don't need the memories because they'll keep fighting to get to the top.

@@velroi I salute you Sir/Madam, for this explanation.
@jbsuselessopinion8434 жыл бұрын
This will be quite long so please bare with me. "The Birth of the Serene King” is a solid episode. If anything, it emphasizes the importance of teamwork, determination, and hard work. A lot of the focus in “The Birth of the Serene King” is on Kageyama and Atsumu, talking about their talent and their genius, but as Kita points out, “genius” is something they’ve been working at for years. They weren’t born good at volleyball; they wanted it and they worked at it, and their attitude towards the sport is completely different from someone like Kita’s. It’s clear that Kita loves volleyball, but not enough to devote his life to it. And to become a “genius” like Kageyama or Atsumu, it has to be the very air that you breathe. However, I think this idea - that if you want it enough and work hard enough, you will achieve great things - is nicely contrasted by the reappearance of Oikawa. Oikawa, as we know, is just as skilled as Kageyama and Atsumu (there’s a reason Kageyama has always looked up to his senpai), but he has never been able to break through. Of course, Oikawa’s brief scene highlights an important mindset. His high school volleyball career is over; he has no way of knowing if he’ll ever face Kageyama again, but his success still motivates him to work. I mean, most of Oikawa seems to be composed of spite, and I’m not sure if that’s all that healthy, but who cares what your motivation is as long as it leads to you bettering yourself?
@liandryss9054 жыл бұрын
Yeah, exactly. It can also be said that Kageyama and Atsumu are literally geniuses, that they have innate talent for the sport. However, that's not the only thing that makes them strong players. Their innate talent is greatly amplified by the amount of work they put into practicing and enchancing their game. In terms of Oikawa, he doesn't have that "innate talent" for volleyball. This is something that has been established multiple times already. He admitted to himself on numerous occassion that at a certain point Kageyama having an "innate talent" will be enough of a gap for their skill, no matter how much work he puts in training. But he still puts in the same, if not more, amount of work as people like Kageyama and Atsumu and that's why he's still currently on-par with them.

Haikyu was an anime I watched out on a limb during quarantine... it’s become an anime in my Top 3. The character development across the board, the emotion it makes you feel it’s unbelievable! I love this anime

man...the fact it took hinata for everyone to realize that they are fighting for the point, and that winning and losing are just results. even atsumu being moved at the end, hinata really is one of the best anime protagonists out there.

The moment I saw Tanaka had his moment with the straight shot I was out here just waiting this video. Tanaka CLUTCH
@biyyufaiz4 жыл бұрын
I just wanna add that is this season some side character doesn't make appearance like a couple who used to play volleyball and watching this tournament together, and hinata classmates who doubt hinata playing in the game supposedly is watching the broadcast, and the dialog for Miyagi prefecture player is actually a lot compare to animated version

Oh just a note, they didnt show it in the anime but Asahi's hand squeezing before his serves was a trick taught by Coach Ukai to let Asahi be less stiff and to loosen up - it loses a little bit of meaning with it without that context that you see how powerful and fluid his serves are now

What I love is that Tanaka's moment in the manga is actually titled "Trust/Threat" because they share the same kanji in japanese, implying that Kageyama is not only having faith in his spikers but he's actually calmly, subtly threatening them with his trust expecting them to hit his tosses and score a point, pushing them to give it their all hence the anime title "The birth of the serene King" ....man what can I say Furudate is fucking amazing
@somasora74 жыл бұрын
So it’s like the way Oikawa says “I believe in all of you” before Seijoh’s matches? He has faith in them, but he’s also lowkey commanding them to live up to his expectations

Great reaction as always! The fact that you reminded us that tanaka/oikawa were some of your top favs right before this ep started... man I knew you were in for it xD Loved everything you said about hinata/daichi, and I'm not even gonna talk on tanaka's moment because wHAT MORE CAN I SAY, but I also love that oikawa appeared while running, minutes before kita's monster speech, and that he continues charging forward with that feral grin on his face after witnessing kageyama come into himself as the serene king!

Kageyama gave Tanaka the best possible set he could give him, like what oikawa does, bringing out 100% from each of his players. Showing oikawa was brilliant 😂

To explain the last part since the anime cut out the explanation, kageyama expected hinata to complain about the bad toss like he did in season 2 but he didn’t because as long as his setter did his best to get the ball to him there was nothing to complain about. That’s why Atsumu was moved. Idk if yall needed this but I just think it was a little unclear here haha

Everytime there's a hype moment I realised that he'll repeat what he says 3 times. Like : I didn't give my boy enough credit, I didn't give my boy enough credit, I didn't give my boy enough credit. Idk why but I find it charming that he's also his own echo.

I'm new to this channel. I watched haikyuu s1-3 at least 3 times, full! I watched this episode 3 times straight cuz it's just so good. Thought I could never re-experience the hype but watching Mr AyoLaxzone react to this episode is another hype to enjoy. Prolly gonn watch his videos back from season 1 now XD
