Kita’s speech was mvp noteworthy
@saralaradji67669 ай бұрын
RIGHT , right, man I love it every time he opens his mouth , the dude is preaching, specifically what he said at the end " to assume that they are geniuses from the start .....is RUDE " , an undervalue to their efforts, time, struggles , to their persons , I love how considerate he is , the mvp of understanding and appreciating poeple and humans in general
@AwesomelyTsundere9 ай бұрын
Honestly kita’s speech is the standout moment of this episode for me. And it’s probably one of my top 5 moments in the show because it’s something that is so easily transferred to many other series.

Some tidbits I would like to add for this episode! 5:30 The interaction between Daichi and Kita, followed by Kita's smile, signifies the acknowledgment that both of their approaches are valid. Kita's mature response reflects his understanding of different perspectives. 10:13 Kageyama's pass to Tanaka, pushing him to exceed his limits, showcases the immense trust among teammates. The subsequent pride shown by Tanaka's sister adds to the beauty of the scene. It also holds deeper significance beyond trust; it also conveys a sense of threat. The kanji "しんらい" (Shinrai) means Trust/Threat. Which is why Kageyama's face is shown in a threatening way, The Threat of Trust! "No, that's not for me to decide", a full circle from Controlling King to Serene King, which Oikawa noticed, Hence the agitated face. 13:40 Here the focus centers on Kageyama and Atsumu, discussing their talent and genius. However, Kita brings an insightful perspective, emphasizing that "genius" is a product of years of hard work, not innate talent. Unlike Kageyama and Atsumu, who dedicated themselves completely to volleyball, Kita's love for the sport doesn't extend to making it his life's pursuit. This idea of achieving greatness through relentless effort is contrasted by the return of Oikawa. Despite possessing equal skill to Kageyama and Atsumu, Oikawa hasn't achieved the same level of success. His appearance underscores an important mindset: even though his high school volleyball career has ended, he remains driven to improve, knowing that his past achievements serve as motivation for future endeavors. 15:29 The line "I'm moved, Shoyo-kun" lacked the context behind it in this scene. In the manga, the full line was: "He doesn't care if the set is short or low. It doesn't matter if it's close to the net either. If his setter gave his all in putting that ball up, he'll take it every time. I think I'm actually moved, Shoyo-kun." What really made me tear up in this episode was seeing Aoba Josai. The expression on Kindaichi's face, and yahaba's passionate scream of "It doesn't matter if you're tired. TRY HARDER" genuinely made me move. These aren't villains but players who just love the Sport. They respect each other, and that's something I truly admire. The reason Haikyuu one of my favorite anime. Great Reaction as always, loved it!

Atsumu being moved by Hinata is the greatest gift that setter could possibly ask by a spiker. I also moved by that kind of player or a person in any situation
@mm-qx5mn9 ай бұрын
Actually 信頼(shinrai) only means trust, but in manga the kanji脅迫(kyouhaku), which means threat, was used. The author wrote trust in hiragana (like Japanese alphabets) beside the kanji meaning threat to make us read that way.

@ChIMeRaTeX9 ай бұрын
So, for everyone wondering what the scene at the end between Kageyama, Hinata and Atsumu meant. Kageyama expected Hinata to complain about the messed up set, but Hinata understood that Kageyama did his absolute best to set the ball, so there was no room to complain. He will appreciate any set that is given full effort, we can see this when Hinata calls out Kageyama for bad decisions or inaccurate sets every now and then. In this case, there was nothing to complain, Kageyama did everything he could. In return, Hinata will always give his 100% to make use of the ball. By not complaining and saying "give me the next one too" he signals his setter "you are capable of this and even more, so keep pushing and thanks for the set". That's what Tanaka was referring to at the end, Hinata is the one keeping Kageyama on edge right now and pushes him forward. In Atsumu's eyes, this mindset makes Hinata his ideal hitter. He genuinely appreciates and understand Hinata's competetive mindset here.

King Kageyama for the MVP !!! "Kalm" Kags is so cool and scary at the same time. I also love how Miya Atsumu appreciated Hinata's personality at the end when instead of complaining for messing the set he is thankful to Kags for choosing him to spike. It shows how reliable Hinata is for a setter. He is super talented, covers for his teammates, does not complain about messy sets and single handedly lifts the spirit of the team. Hinata's presence motivates the people around him. Personally for me, Hinata is as good of a MC as EREN JEAGER.

10:13 I love how Kags is threatening (trusting) Tanaka like “I’ll give the easy-to-hit toss and you have the ability to make it, right?” 15:06 And here as well, this time Hinata is threatening (trusting) Kags that he’ll give a considerate toss no matter what. It’s always the best toss for Hinata even it’s sloppy if Kags put effort into a toss. I looove these dynamics 😍

There's a lot of theory that Inarizaki was the team that beat Shiratorizawa in the last National. Since Tendou mentioned and knew about Rintarou's spike, and we knew that in the last National Inarizaki only lose in final.
@Kingi069Ай бұрын
This most likely did happen. We saw a sillioute of tendo when suna was talking about scary blockers so they have defitnely played each other. I'm guessing Inarizaki knocked them out in either the semi finals or quarter finals.

Atsumu went from "i hate playing sucky guy" and glance to hinata, to "I'm moved, Shoyo-kun". I think one of the comment had mentioned about the full inner monolog of Atsumu behind the the statement he made, and to add, kageyama said "well, sorry, he is suck, but he ain't weak", and atsumu just witnessed that and respect that. Man, i love haikyu (im crying, again, after hundreds of rewatch)

Haikyuu overall is just so good. Reading the manga, it's hard to pinpoint which arc is great. But anime wise, season3 hands down. The music, the artstyle, the animation, it's all so poetic because it's Karasuno's triumph. Season 4 onwards is geared toward the individual Karasuno players esp the MCs. The later arcs (hopefully shown in the final movie) is actually quite rewarding and a little bit melancholic or nostalgic so I'm not sure if they're going to animate that but fingers crossed.
@FuFightersStudio9 ай бұрын
This is my favourite episode in the series I think. The Kita genius speech is absolutely incredible and amazingly inspirational. Then the jump off the cliff showing that limits can be broken and you can always take the next step if you try hard enough. Then there is the whole thing about the "serene king". Now I want to preface the following - I dont speak Japanese but I do grasp a lot of things about translations and here I feel like they missed the meaning - we already have Kalm Kageyama for that. I think Furudate was going for a different angle with this. All throughout the early Haikyuu Kageyama is called a tyrant, dictator - an autocratic ruler who believes in "My way or the highway". He got his wake-up call and changed himself to become a figurehead - a ruler who takes no actions of his own and is moved by those around him. And now at last he reached the equilibrium and became an Enlightened Monarch - a ruler who takes matters into their own hands but listens to advice and takes the best actions for everyone. That is what this feels like - so I personally think that the "serene" in that name might have been something along the lines of "enlightened" and just didnt carry over the translation or was misunderstood. I might be wrong but I think its amazingly poetic and fitting

One really quick scene that, for me, shows how much Hinata is getting really comfortable being "the bait" is when he's cheering for Asahi. In earlier seasons he would always "tense up", because he wanted to be the ace so badly. Now he's really enjoying his own growth as a volleyball player and it is amazing to see, and that allows him to be this character that is always lifting the team's spirit Also... Cheers from Brazil ⭐⭐

When Tanaka received a long setup from Kageyama. He says, ``Show me an answer to that trust (threat).'' Kageyama's setup is more like a threat, telling you that you can do more than this, so please do your best spikes, rather than trust. When Tanaka gets a little weak, that trust feels pressured, but more than that, it inspires me.

I would like to add one thing. It's right what my boy kita said about "talent" . You can't disrespect the hardwork of these people by calling them merely talented. But it's also true that innate ability exists whether you like it or not. And that's the scientific fact if you wanna make sure check out sports scientists insights into it. That's why my fav is oikawa he knows he is not as talented as other players but it'd his share passion and hard work that keeps him with the level of others and that's the thing I can resonate with and hence oikawa is the goat and that's where i disagree with kita a lil bit

Manga wise, the match against inarizaki easily wins if we compare it to the match against shiratorizawa. But anime wise? Season 3 clears season 4 pt2 just because of the overall product we got. The polishing, direction and animation was just so insanely amazing. Basically what I'm trying to say is that narratively and story wise, the inarizaki match is far superior just because of the sheer amount of payoffs we get for every character (from hinata's receive to kageyama's evolution into becoming the serene king aswell as the wonderful recontextualisation of the entire story through kita's speech) You guys should definitely check out the inarizaki match in the manga aswell since there were some small details that were skipped in the anime.
