I am growing a lot of chilis this year in my garden, and I was working on a new sauce, chili ranch. There is no mayo in it, just chili, onion, garlic, and sour cream. What would you think of such a concoction?

That concoction sounds pretty tasty. Let me know if you go through with it. The home grown ingredients should set it over the top.

Good evening !! Perhaps I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for those, to see how they compare with the Lays and Ruffles. Thanks for the heads up !

That's awesome to hear !!! I've been enjoying my bag here. I love how you can single out each of the 3 individual flavors. Thanks for sharing !

I like ruffled chips for dipping. I like flat chips for seasoning, or plain. I don't particularly like the flavor of ruffled chips without dip. They are a bit too thick and don't taste crispy enough. I'm going to Canada in May, so I will definitely look for these on the shelves.

I'm with you to, I prefer ruffled chips for dipping. I like ruffles flavors, usually they're pretty solid. They just need to release more flavors. You probably wouldn't like the classic chips, O'Grady's. They were a thick, ruffled chip. They came in plain and Au Gratin, soooo good. Lay's tried thick chips a few years back, but it never stuck.

@ Thick chips are not my bag. The thickest one I still like are Kettle Chips. When a chip gets thick, it's more like eating a potato than a snack food. They get dry and stuck in your teeth. I remember O'Grady's from back in the 80's. They may have been the start of my dislike for thick chips.

@someguy-k2h oh wow, I'm surprised that you had Ogradys and they turned you off to thick chips. They made me love them, ha ha.

@ I think it's the shape of my teeth. I have very deep divots, and this filled in with chip. I had to spend minutes picking out all the chunks of chip.
