I watch this daily (I’m serious). This is by far my favorite solo ever. The emotion pouring out from her while she’s dancing was sooo beautiful. She has the gift of telling a story through dance, and I’ve seen many solos before and many other dancers. But Simone has something no one else has. Every time I watch this I get goosebumps. This is still one my all-time favorite solos! Simone, your commitment to this piece (and others) really sets you apart from other dancers. The fluidity of this dance made it seem like it was not even choreographed, but instead your own imrov. This is one of my absolute favourite dances. She is absolutely incredible. She tells a beautiful story through the movement of her whole body including the expressions on her face which just gives me tingles up my spine! I cry because of the fact that I'm crying, because there's people all over the world who has an absolutely more difficult life than mine. And I try to stop because I don't like to be weak, and I embarras myself either I'm alone or in front of people. I feel like I have to think that I have a beautiful life because it is true: I have a family, a home, a bed... And that should be enough for me, and it is, but sometimes, in response to some situations, one can't help but crying.
