The face chain was the biggest nod to EXO that I saw, harkening back to Baekhyun's face chain in Obsession. I am not sure myself, but the street scene's lighting and the car, made me think SOOOO much of SC's One Billion Views. I also caught a few parts in the songs that made me think of a couple member's solo tracks. Especially since they were spoken in English. He said "ride or die" towards the beginning of the song (from Kai's track of the same name off debut album) and "is you riding" which instantly made me think of Baekhyun's R U Riding off of Delight. They could all be nothing, but they sure caught my attention...

And not that anyone asked but for a background: For the instrument, it is an actual Chinese instrument called 二胡 (Erhu), and sometimes in the western countries, it can also be called the Chinese violin. It originated from the Tang Dynasty, and it has a history of over 1000 years. Also the block rectangles things are called 麻将 (Mahjong), which started back in the 19th century. Lastly this was filmed primarily in Guangdong, China, and in one day he switched 6 scenes and 7 outfits. :)

And about the world tour, Lay is actually going to be headlining the Metamoon Festival in Brooklyn, New Your on the 26th of November and tickets are already available to purchase at Seatgeek so if you'd like to see him live maybe this is a good opportunity!
