I had to stop going to a gym because of this song. I was doing a cardio interval, already jogging a good pace when this song came on my headphones. I kept double-tapping the speed increased button every so often until my Pace match that of the tempo. When the song was over, I looked down and saw the speed I climbed to and had to get off the treadmill cuz I couldn't maintain that. The treadmill section went from full to empty, because no one wanted to be near the 260 lb bearded man sprinting 16 mph on the treadmill like he's leading a Viking raid.

When I was deployed from 2008-2009 during the surge to Iraq with 4th brigade combat team, 3rd infantry division, this album came out in the middle of 2008. We were blasting that shit in our humvee during combat missions. Nothing quite like returning fire with an M2 .50 cal while trying to sync the bursts with the guitar riffs.

In an interview with the band, Draiman mentioned what a Staff Sgt. told him when they were on tour in the Middle East for the troops. He was told that a majority of the regiments would listen to Indestructible prior to going into battle to get themselves pumped to take on anything and because of this the band was awarded an Accommodation of Valor from the U.S. Armed Forces.

I was in the Army too and it just doesn't ring a bell. Commodations of Valor exist but those are for those who displayed valor and heroics in battle.
