I live in a rural area and it isn't unusual to leave the doors unlocked when going to bed, heck the last week has been warmer so I didn't even close the doors. The worse that happened was an opossum came up the back deck in the back door and helped himself to the cats food, he shuffled back out when he saw me coming. Good job! It's not easy either. I have a 15 yo son and teaching him to treat girls with respect, especially after he was caught sneaking in a girl's window! We made sure he knew that he wasn't being respectful towards the girl or himself, even though she invited him, it's still a disrespectful act towards her, himself and her family too! Apparently when the girls dad came in her room he was hiding in her bathroom connected to her room . He came out wearing one of her tops and swishing his walk behaving as if he was gay. This only infuriated the dad even more and he dropped the act. He was grounded for a month.

i'm not sure where you got that information, but i never heard that. the mayans used a base 20 math system. i did my research paper for the history of math on mayan mathematicians, which the bulk of my paper was about their calendar systems. the mayans actually had 3 calendars; the long count, the haab, and the tzolkin. it's been so long i don't remember all the details, but what i remember, they had a solar calendar (the haab) which was 18 months of 20 days + a 5 day month. their sacred calendar was the tzolkin and consisted of 13 20 day periods. the mayan calendar round is the overlap of these two cycles and took 52 haab cycles to come back to the same starting point. the mayan long count is the most confusing of the 3 calendars, and was the basis for the end date predictions. i don't remember all the details about this calendar, but the theory is that at the end of the long count the universe is destroyed and recreated.

It doesn't surprise me about that creepy guy that broke in and was living in a random person's attic. I had a man that kept breaking into my house and was living in my attic. After I finally got tired of my house always being broken into I set up a 16 camera security system and set up muilple traps. When he tried breaking into my house again I was notified right away and he was stopped by one of my traps that I had set up. Needless to say he definitely learned his lesson the hardway and was lucky to leave with his life. Unfortunately after dealing with that and the nabor hood constantly getting worse I decided to sell my house to a nabor for a fraction of what it was worth. I did found out from a different nabor after I sold it that the guy that was breaking into my house had been living in my attic for year's before I finally had noticed.

It actually happens so often apparently that there’s a term for it(can’t think of it right now). There was a young guy who had a crush on a girl n he was living in the crawl space/door under their staircase n it was 3 girls living with their dad n the mom had died. They kept hearing things n strange things happening around the house. They thought it was the ghost of their dead moon n the dad thought they were delusional from grief. He ended up finding the guy in the house with his face painted in camo. There was a bunch of stuff under the staircase crawlspace where he had been living n coming out doing things in the house when no one was there.

I had this buddy that was 4 years older than me we hung out daily. When I was a kid all the cool kids smoked and so he got in on that. I really looked up to this dude and so when he offered me one I said yes with NO hesitations. In retrospect it was the WORST thing a friend could ever do. I've smoked from 13 to 40 and the last 18 years I've wished I could go back in time and slap myself and tell me not to be stupid and don't start smoking! I've quit a couple times but I also drank and the people that know know that being drunk makes you want a cigarette more than your next breath of air!!! Kids DONT start smoking!!!
