I love the way you teach, you're so articulate, clear and very lovely. This video on its own is a blessing to have watched. CSP can seem somewhat overwhelming, but you break it all down just right thank you so much, Sarrah.

Really appreciate these clear concise explanations about CSP! I'm relatively new to digital are so videos like this one are really helpful! If you get a chance, would love to see a video about CSP's new Simple Mode. Would you happen to know if there's a way to bring a reference image in when using Simple Mode?
@MsRedNebulaArt Жыл бұрын
I don't, unfortunately! The Simple Mode looks really neat, but it's only available for Android and iOS at the moment, and I use CSP on my desktop PC. As far as I can see, it looks like you can only open one image at a time, but it has full layer functionality. So you could pull in a reference picture onto its own layer, and shrink it up into a corner of the screen perhaps? It didn't look like it had a Sub View like normal CSP for opening separate reference images. I hope that's a little help at least. If I ever have a chance to play with Simple Mode on a tablet or phone (or if they add it to PC), I'll definitely make some videos on it.

@@MsRedNebulaArt Thank you!! I'll tinker a bit and see what I come up with. I do also use the full version on my tablet but Simple Mode makes focusing s lot easier. Looking forward to more of your tutorials!! Thanks again!

Hi Sarrah, I was wondering if you could explain and show setting up Canvas Properties > Border Lines for Printing etc. When I place that on my image there are so many lines, which do I follow?
@MsRedNebulaArt3 ай бұрын
Great subject for a video! In the meantime, the short version: The inner border is where you want to keep the most important parts of the image, text, and such. If you don't want your art to print all the way to the edges of the page, you can also simply cut it off here. The trim is the approximate point at which your printed page will be cut (it won't be cut any further in than this) - but there will also be what's called a bleed, which is an extra margin in case the page is trimmed a little off. If you want your art to go all the way to the edges of the final printed page, make sure there's at least something all the way out to the bleed in case the cutting is off. I hope that makes sense!
