can you apply underglaze to greenware, then bisque fire, then coat with celadon? Looks like you are applying underglaze and celadon to bisque.

Where did the velvet underglazes get used? This was all celadons - correct?

Absolutely! All of our Celadons are translucent so we recommend doing test tiles of different underglazes under the celadons you want to use to see which ones you like best.

I recently added an underglaze to a textured piece. Can you use celadons over an underglazed texture ?

Absolutely! Our Celadons are translucent and designed to break over texture similar to the ancient ones they are modeled after :)

Can you use velvet underglazes over the satin matte white with the same effect?

Maybe. Some Velvets will work over glazes, but because of the clay content of normal underglaze some Velvets will bubble and be rough if applied over a glaze. Testing would need to be done.

Since most of the Celadons are translucent they look a bit murky over red or dark-colored clays. THey work best on white, light, and speckled clays. ~Cara
