When someone you don't care about says something mean to you, you don't really care coz they don't mean anything to you. But when someone you care and love says that you are unworthy of someones love and nobody would want to be with you, then that hurts more than anything else. Only at 9:06 but the vibes are 💯 me. Someone I'm close to tells me the way I am is annoying/stupid and I will just completely shut down that side of myself when I'm around them. Say you can't stand that I act Childish or Goofy? I will immediately become perfect manners and cold. You won't see me smile or laugh. I won't have an opinion on anything related to me and instead will do everything you want to do. If you Ask me to go somewhere with you I will politely decline. Tell me to go with you and I will do it without a complaint. I won't stay in the same room with you unless told to do so and I will not initiate physical contact unless you tell me to do it. If you give me the option to decline I will. But I won't say no outright to anything you tell me to do. It's like running on Autopilot. I'm there physically but inside I'm numb and scared.

That hit me pretty hard. The feeling that you need to shut down your entire personality so you won't upset someone further, while struggling to not cry because of how hurt you feel... I felt that.

sounds like that person wants to mold you into a submissive robot ( a mini him/her/them). Being cold to please people who don't accept the real you is miserable. Sooner or later, that person will isolate you from your friends and family. Then make you feel like shit and/or beat/use you until you no longer have any free will of your own. Can't predict abuse, but you never know. Being on autopilot: That's what abusers want. They love controlling you and molding you into a fake until you're a shell. I know I'm a stranger and what I'm saying is easier said than done, but you'll be much more free when you're away from people like that
