Soma was too clunky, and it literally used jumpscares at every moment, Soma was the joke, and it was no where near as beautiful as layers of fear 2, especially in chapters 3, 4, and 5. To be honest this game deserves a higher score for it's storytelling

Not everybody knew Layers of Fear 2 was a thing, but I think they keep it that way to not ruin the element of surprise. Sometimes hyping can be detrimental, like for a game, because if the game didn't lived up to everyone's expectations, it will be given poor reviews

People are hearing about it “now” like 1 year ago and I literally just heard about it a few days ago. In 2020 that’s crazy. This game is awesome though people are complaining that it’s boring but I disagree and the devs put a lot of work into this one. At first I was expecting it to feel linear and repetitive seeing as how it’s on a ship but the game didn’t fail on the level designs and transitions. Play it with headphones, in the dark for a better experience. 😸

It bores me i dunno why, usually i love puzzle games but not a single jumpscare got me, the story didn't even catch me, the only horror i really got scared of and still got scared of is outlast 1 n 2, alien isolation and i forgot that vr thing possession was it?(it was exorcist i checked now haha)

9.0? Really? This game is so bland and boring. The story is a mess and gives no context with these silly audio dialogues which just takes away from the immersion. The scary moments is repeated over and over which just makes the game stale. You won't get surprised by anything in this game. Walk down a corridor, open the only door that is not locked, enter new area with much of the same thing over again. Rinse and repeat. That is what this game is.

Uh another one huh? I truly don't understand horror games like this! Agony, outlast and alien isolation are all like this too. I've never understood the appeal in running and hiding from the enemy with no weapons. I ain't saying that layers of fear 2 should be an action game, but I'd rather play something with at least some combat. Games like alan wake, resident evils and dead space 1 and 2 where there is some combat and you are given some ways to defend your character.
