I actually stayed the night in this hostel in Fukuoka. We wanted to stay there in Kyoto but it was fully booked. The one in Fukuoka was really nice,it was definitely a different experience sleeping in a bookshelf. I would do it again.

Did anyone else hear 'CABIR FEVEN'? LOL I always mix up words like this. & also how you pronounce Corduroy as 'Colduroy" and it comes up as 'Cold run' on the subtitles. haha This is not to hate in any way, I love your channel! Just had a little giggle over this. :)

That cafe looks so cool! I think one of the nights when I was in Shinjuku we went up to look at that place but it was only open to people staying because it was pretty late. (Or might've been a different location haha) Was T actually watching your vlog? That's so cute! 😂

Yeah he always watches lolz And past 8pm the cafe shuts down and it’s becomes a capsule style hotel which is probably why you couldn’t get in!

I was like "Wait can you guys see Mt. Fuji from Tokyo?!?!" Then i googled it to see its location and i was "Oh man it in the south i thought Mt.Fuji was located on far beyond Tokyo, in Toyama" 😂 i think this is a common misunderstanding cuz the kanji of Mt. fuji contains the kanji of Toyama 富士山=Mt.fuji 富山=Toyama prefecture

Re: "this dish is quite cheap if you have a lot of people coming and they all like this kind of stuff" . A recent experience was a challenge : one guest was Organic Vegan. We had to look that one up - and they had a cat who was not, apparently :)

@@LayersOfJenn no the challenge was we had no idea whether the meal we had planned would meet the criteria of organic veganism - it did not, so we had to provide additional food at VAST cost :).

@@TT-zd6nr Did the person expect you to make something for them? I'm vegetarian and I never expect someone to cook just for me. I would have just eaten the veggies in the oden (even though there's probably dashi in the soup) or eaten nothing. ^^
