What type of equipment used here? How to select winch capacity according to cable,? If trench length is long, how to position the winch?

The winch positioning is easy if it is a straight pull if there is any bad bends on jobs I've pulled cable get the cable going round the bad bends 1st from what the winch is saying 50kn it looks like it's capable of pulling 5ton of cable
