Previous month I managed to withdraw my first five figure paycheck ever!!! I've been working for this company over the internet for 24 months now and I never been happier... They are paying me $95 per hour, and the most desirable thing regarding it is the fact that I am not that tech-savvy, they only asked for basic idea of internet and simple typing skill...Awesome thing about it is the more time I got for my kids. I am able to spend quality time with my friends and family and take care of my children and also going on family holiday together with them very consistently. Don't neglect this chance and make sure to react fast. Check it out, what I do... *worth48.com*

I was watching another channel, called the honest Carpenter when he dropped your name in the video. I’ve been checking out your videos for the past couple of months. I never knew that somebody made a channel that had anything to do with setting and rolling trusses and construction. I’ve been in the Truss business myself as a driver and a operator for 20 years. But you guys are a little too far south, because I work in Northern California. But you never know this business, maybe one day I could come by and set some trusses for you guys.

Sucks about anchor bolts. They should set the before pour like the hold downs. Builder said to me “ why do you need to go there before they pour?” I said because it’s more work later if their hold down bolts are off. Sure enough concrete guy had no clue where they actually went. I set them properly and haven’t had an issue yet on current job.

Good day from Australia. I have watched all of the winery build and because I am a bit hard of hearing, I miss the names of your fellow workers. Maybe as a part of your videos you could introduce your main players and make the video a little more involving. The only one I identify is the smoker. You could say something like this is so and so (our apprentice) so and so is a fast machine nailer man etc. Just my thought.

Only thing is I would like to know where the other trusses were marked on. That can be very confusing to someone like us. I know its 2' center but from the 1st one being laid out on 231/4" to 243/4" what would the tape read on the other mark ups.

Hey Matt quick question I’m not a carpenter but I do my own stuff around the house My question is when you were laying the trusses out why did you move the tape measure from the end of the wall into where you marked the first truss? Thanks John
@lhayes9781
@lhayes9781 4 жыл бұрын
John Rohdy it simplifies the layout. The truss layout from the nail/edge of the truss is 24” vs calculating 24 on center. 24-25.5, 48-49.5...

Why do you sometimes skin the wall before you raise it and sometimes after?
@lorenrickey5481
@lorenrickey5481 4 жыл бұрын
Not Matt, but he has said that due to the size/weight of some of these wall lifts it would be pushing the load capacity of the equipment to lift a sheathed wall. Also sometimes a wall won't square up so it's easier to correct after standing, then sheath. Then there's plumbing in the foundation that might be in the way and finally, the slab might not be level. Hope this helps.

@@MattBangsWood Thanks for that info. I do have a question that you might give some insight. What would be the cost savings, in labor or material for this scenario if any. A concrete slab with no embedded tie-down in concrete, framing crew doesn't have to measure around it for the bottom plate, drill out when framing a wall and then while those walls are stood up you come in a just drill for those Titens and screw it. It seems like it might be easier labor, but not cost-wise. Thoughts?
