29:00 the plant isnt too far. The sewage line is empty because there are no sewage producing buildings in Petersburg.

That is what I was about to write. There’s no building there to produce sewage so it’s so not going to run in the line.

A cool landmark, although it is south of Naples, would be Marco Island. The island is a very developed resort haven in the middle of the Everglades, and it could give you a reason to add a bit of the Swampland near the bottom of the map

6:45 A couple things to point out about the skyway 1. It contains 2 small parks on both sides with a rest area and a fishing pier. This would be a cool feature for the build 2. The Skyway is actually a toll road despite being on an interstate highway. There's a toll booth for traffic heading towards the bridge only on both sides I'll probably be commenting on this build a lot since I'm from the area
@zacksheets97266 ай бұрын
30:42 St Pete's major landmark is Tropicana Field, which is an indoor MLB stadium located between I-175 and I-375 right next to I-275. While I'm not sure how feasible it is to put something similar to that in CS2, I was mildly disappointed to see you grid the location where the stadium sits :( An MLB stadium may be too big for this build, but at least give St. Patricksburg a sports team in that location

Instead of I-95 its I-75, and the sunshine bridge highway is called I-275

I've been over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge a few times, interesting experience was when Hurricane Frances was coming ashore in 2004, I was literally the last civilian vehicle crossing heading south before they closed it in advance of the storm/high winds, and I had a police escort following to make certain I got off the bridge. Loving the layout of the new city, only comment I can think of, needs more palm trees since it is Florida.

20:31 I thought you were building a retention pond here and tbh I was kinda disappointed to see it was for the road. We don't do a lot of roads below the land surface because the water table is too high here. Also, retention ponds are frequently in the inner loop of the parclos because we need it to collect storm water

Nice map. I think it was a good move to overbuild at first. I often struggle with this as a map maker and end up over building because most players will appreciate the infrastructure being able to handle traffic for a while. It's easy enough to demolish it if they want something more rural.

Nice little city. You may need to add industry big time as I thing your demand problems is caused by the lack of jobs and things to sell. Luckily, you can use specialized industry to fill he demand.
@Jan598466 ай бұрын
In my save the demand problem was caused by the homeless bug. Sometimes they aren't able to leave the city and pile up in the parks. The mod bye bye homeless takes care of it. After that my demand went back to normal. 😊

Mosaic is a very interesting factory/mine. I don’t know much about it besides it looks very cool from google. That could possibly help with some industry demand as well.
@Will-le4lm6 ай бұрын
For some reason any taxes over 10% seems to kill all office demand. I had high taxes in the beginning of my city which killed all my demand for offices and industry which made my citizens become unemployed. Lowering taxes and providing alot of office and industry and commercial will bring back residential demand and soon you will have alot of money even with low taxes because of the tax base grows so much.

@ThatNerdDott6 ай бұрын
Firstly, i recommend investing in offices. My city of 10K only has education up to an 800-capacity high school but still makes nearly a million per month from low-density offices at an 8% tax rate. Also, there is an easy fix for your sewage issues (wastewater treatment plants ocnvert pollutants into rubbish/garbage). Pump sewage straight into a small dimple in the land that you have terraformed, then terraform a hole down to the bottom of the map next to it. THe sewage flows into the deep hole. When the deep hole is nearly hull, pause the game, terraform over it and remake the hole. The original sewage will just disappear as long as the level you terraform to was above the "water" level.

The big issue that Cities Skylines 2 created is the fact we can't actually make a new city far away with it's own thing, because there should be a City Zone Tool so you can zone a area and separate it from the other cities, because all the tiles counts as the city boundaries, and you cannot split it into two, because the game won't have the mechanics to split your city money to all cities or it could break the game... I think Cities Skylines 2 should have a mechanic where we can found a new city, that's not part of anything, just a completely new thing, so the budget is different, and you don't have to manage two or more cities with the budget of a only city... This is the big issue of CS2, it doesn't want you to make more than one city because it's all connected, so you have to share everything together, you can't just simulate a industry very far away, and have people moving out for work, you can't even get people from other cities outside border because there's nothing outside 🤡 It could be easily fixed while making the map, you can set up the types of cities outside and make scenarios and the history of those outside cities that the borders can't do, but you could see the roads informations showing all the cities names, number of habitants and important informations... But no, it's empty, there's no importance when roads come from the border, or a indication of the city neighbors around you... This could be a realistic solution, obviously they need to give us the tools so we could at least do it by ourselves, but instead we're with pur hands empty, I doubt the person behind the searching for ideas and feedback for CS2 read my suggestions though those years, for this reason the game is lacking millions of features, and lacks content 🥺😭 I thought Cities Skylines 2 could be perfect to recreate a real life town...but it feels like we're stuck in Cities Skylines 1 yet.. Anyway good luck with this build, I truly believe if this game had more stuff you could have a lot of fun and more stuff to do. 🙂👍

Have you tried to lower taxes? From small glimpse at you screen i see demand is low because of unoccupied buildings - maybe try to destroy some buildings. Also check if you do not have a lot of homeless people i hear this can stop your demants. NVM half of my comment, but still it's good to check homeless problem.
