I really love the way you guys use the media for these lessons. The way you organize the song sections, show the strumming pattern and chords logically, have the fretboard visual. And end with a follow along playthrough. You really use KZbin to maximum effectiveness in a way that very few do. And this song in particular is extra fun to play and not very hard outside of the solos, and you even make that part doable. So thanks for these!

I used to learn this song by tabs so long time ago. I even didn't have internet so we had to bought tab books at local store to learn this beautiful blues. And you know what? Holy guacamole! Thank you! I tried playing this song in A minor on fourth fret for a while but I never really got the original sound. I was pretty tired already when I saw this video. I hadn’t learned anything new in a while and I kind of had given up on Layla but I tried once more. And saweet djeesas! This sounds exactly like Layla unplugged! Thank you! Very good lesson. A lot of work has gone into this. The tab at the bottom while the notes are playing is a top idea as I can visualize the tab and play it in my mind . It helps me learn.

Yeah- so I'm trying to teach myself guitar- clearly I have great taste in music, lol, and figured Eric Clapton wouldn't be easy.....but damn! You are amazing- you make it look so frickin easy, when I know it's not!!! I've only learned one song thus far- Stick Season by Noah Kahan (minus the plucking of course, or still working on that part), which I'm using your tutorial to do because it's the best and actually breaks down the plucking 👍🏼 don't think I'm ready for this one, but hopefully some day!!! 😊 thank you for making these!!!! 🤘🏼✌🏼

Great lesson. Well explained. If you use your pinkie finger to play the D note on the B string for the Dm chord in the main riff, it frees up your 3rd finger to play the C note on the A string. (Also useful for While My Guitar Gently Weeps)

For the intro d minor you can also use your pinky on the 3rd fret of the b string it makes it sound full without having to rush your middle finger
