More important than the actual TYPE of view (List, Board, Calendar, Gantt, Timeline, Mindmap, Workload, etc.) View FILTERS allow you to customize each type of view to let you "chunk" your data in different ways.

@@LaylaPomper I'm not sure if you have covered this before: would it be possible to cover using ClickUp for a CRM, but with a particular focus on small businesses that don't have hundreds of clients at a time? For example, I'm an Architect, so I'll have somewhere between 10 to 50 clients in a year (50 if extremely lucky). With this few clients the relationship building and personal follow ups are so important. Let me know if this something you would be interested in covering, and thank you for the awesome videos and tutorials 😃

Was playing around with one of my views after seeing this. It's a content calendar specifically for Google My Business Posts. I found a way to speed up the workflow using the list view to quickly add data to fields. Then going in to calendar view and dropping the unscheduled tasks in where I wanted them. So much smoother. Still revising. Did notice that I can't advance to next task in calendar view. Only list view.

Thanks for the helpful video. I'm trying to view a group by a custom field, and frustrated that each unique combination is it's own group. I have 8 tags in my custom field, and I want only 8 categories when I view on a board or list. If one project has multiple labels I end up with 10+ different groups. Do you know a way around that?

but me mode only works if you treat/set subtask as a separate task. if you don't... either displaying subtask as collapse or expanded ... the me mode shows all task associated with a parent task regardless of who the assignee is..... if you are in me mode/expanded, and you are only assigned one task out of 20 subtasks ..... all 20 tasks are displayed. If you are in me mode/Collapse, just the parent task are displayed and the display may not indicate that any of the parent tasks is assigned to you (graphically). the task are displayed because at least one of the subtask (not displayed) of the parent is assigned to you. or am I doing something wrong? It just threw me off when I was in Me Mode and I see all the tasks not assigned to me.

Yes, you're correct! That's why I tend to always show "Subtasks as Separate Tasks" if I'm using Me Mode. Personally, it's not a feature I like to use. BUT I find very helpful when setting up views for VAs or other task-centric roles. :)

In my experience it typically takes someone about 2 weeks of daily use to feel comfortable and 2 months to know all they'd need to know to do their daily work. One step at a time! The common mistake I see is folks trying to learn ALLLLL the features at once, when really there are only a few that you really need to "Get the job done!" 😀

I thought I was having the same experience. However, I clicked on the KZbin gears icon and noticed my player had auto'd to 360p. I changed it to 1080p and it was perfect. Not Layla's issue at all, but my players. YMMV
