can't wait to learn if butter makes the beef pop and how the floral aromas hold up between bread! in the meantime now i'm trying to imagine fully composed sandwiches featuring sichuan peppercorn that are not rocking a complete ma-la profile or maybe even particularly east asian influenced altogether besides the one element/maybe one other. i don't know how well most of the delicate aromas would survive veg fermentation or meat preservation. the thought of a fruit mostarda with sichuan peppercorn just popped into my head though. and i'm liking that a lot even though i've never even had mostarda, never mind made one myself. have a good one barry! and anyone who reads rambling kook comments.
