Just saw a Z06 in person two weeks ago, and wow, it truly lives up to the hype! In the flesh, it looks even better than in photos, or utube and for a moment, I almost mistook it for an STO or a regular Huracan. But let me tell you, those 670 horsepower are just insanely powerful 💪. And the sound of that V8? Absolute music to my ears. As a stingray owner- im not jealous of the extra speed- but I’m definitely jealous of the sound - especially at lower RPM honestly. The stingray just does not sound that great except at full chat. Z06 sounds special

@ yeah well I have had a Shelby GT350 and Maserati Gran Turismo S - and both of those cars sounded amazing even if you were just puttering around town. I may have to upgrade to the Zed sooner than later- again, not because I need to go faster than the stingray- but because for me the sound is just so much of the driving experience

I dunno if that makes sense, but what I like about the LT6 is that it sounds...large. It doesn't sound _totally_ like a Ferrari, even though it does have a flatplane crank. It _does_ sound like the combustion cycles going on inside the cylinders are...bigger. Like comparing 1lb of explosive detonating vs 5 lbs. 😂 And this is what sells it to me. 😆 I hope we'll see a nice aftermarket support for both LT6 and LT7 engines in the future, even if they'll probably be rarer and more expensive than the LT2 and LS family.
