8:00 Well, not so much AI as aggro management. Aggro is generated by anything a player does, and heals generate a fair amount. As long as the tank whacks things correctly, it's usually not an issue, but if the healer casts Regen (a heal-over-time spell) before the Tank rolls into whackin' range, the monsters notice the healing and decide that guy-in-a-dress is on the menu.

@@cryw1092 as BLU tank White Wind is literally the best group aggro skill xD 2 adds popping down when you go spell farming in a group and no one wanted to tank because casting mitigation sucks and you bit the bullet? No problem, slap on an aoe overheal at the power of your full hp with tank stance, no impatient dps bursts will rip you off ever again (and BLU dps are impatient as hell) Aurora is a lot smaller than a healers regens though so dunno if that's a good idea, better keep it for sustain and let the healer deal with their own timing (or rightclick on the regen to remove it)

Actually the shadow on the textbox for his name is always the same size in FFXIV, so its not a trace of the erased name, it's just always like that.

Glare is a White Mage's primary attack spell. Typically healers only get a couple of attack spells so if a White Mage is dps'ing, he is basically just spamming Glare over and over, hence, glare mage.

One of those things you think people would do because the self quarantining makes people crazy. Mark preferring long shafts with some heft in them (because you can use it as an improvised weapon) is something I didn't think I would get to know. Should we be thankful Mark only reviewed flashlights for their brightness and not the ones that have built-in tasers?

I'll try my best to not sound like that promotional copy paste (it's gonna be hard) but the free trial of FF14 let's you play through the base game (a realm reborn) and the first expansion heavensward, which is quite a bit of content for free, you'll have to pay for the rest tho, but hey at least it gives you enough time to make that decision based on your experience of those two.

About the Sage, the Healer shooting LASERS :D its a new class not yet in game ... it will become playable with the newest Expansion Endwalker, set to release on Nowember 12. As for the Free Trial of FF XIV its masive, you basically can play the vas majority of jobs in the game up to level 60 and play A Realm Reborn = ARR, All of the post AAR patches and the first expansion Heawensward and you can play it for free as long as you want, not time limit ... there are some limitations of course, you can not play jobs that came out with the remaining 2 expansions and you dont have friend lists, cant trade and cant create parties but can be invite to one ... and a few other limitations but it still offers a ton of worth for basically nothing

a lot of mmo ai healing is added next to dps for determining who has the most aggro ignoring tank taunts and the like. So if the healer is healing way more than the party is dealing damage (which if everyone is hurt and your healing everyone at the same time that might happen) and the tank isn't tanking, healers get the aggro.

I think it's just that if you're healing before pulls as soon as combat begins you'll start getting threat before the tank has a chance to touch them and they might go for you. The "red fox" was actually a Kobold. JoCat made a plushie which this video is tied to. The Kobold design however is not actually his but instead the design of Chris Zito (a member of TeamFourStar and a cast member on the online D&D show "The Unexpectables"). JoCat and Zito collaborated on the Kobold plushie.
