Actually this is the Hokkaido E5 series. This is due to the fact it has a purple stripe. The Tohoku Shinkansen has a magenta stripe but that is really the only difference really.

That was really fun to see but to be honest, the only train in that video that seems to have quite "realistic" physics is the Pendolino. I do drive trains (including HST) in reality and apart from some metro / suburban units, no trains (and especially HST) take off like the Shinkansen / 373 / Acela in this video, and the TGV Duplex is way more powerful 😂 And by the way, they must have fallen on the side in the curves 😂😂 But that was quite pleasant to watch, thanks for sharing!

The h5 shinkansen is actually a multiple unit train. It has 4 traction motors per car except for the first and last cars. It is known to have a better acceleration than regular HSTs that are power-unit based like the Acela or TGV

Yh it’s a shame but they need the licensing from Renfe, Avlo, Iryo etc. would also be great if they added mor e Shinkansens and Italian High Speed trains. The frecciarossa 1000 has a maximum operating speed of 400 kph, if the tracks could support it.

Shinkansen trains looks advance & futuristic while others are looking like traditional train sets of Europe although Chinese CRH 380A is somehow looking inspired by Shinkansen

CRH380A is a heavily modified CRH2, which is heavily based on the Japanese E2 shinkansen(the first few sets are actually built in Japan)

I clicked on the video to see how the E5 JR Shinkansen stacks up to the others, but I'll have little incentive to watch videos from your channel if you'll keep disrespecting the language like that. I don't care if you mispronounce a few things, just don't be an ass. Series 0 is the firs high speed train (1964) and JR still have by far the best high speed train network in the world. The Chinese high speed train in the video has designed service speed of 380kph. It actually achieved 350kph in actual service, however now the top speed of CRH380A is reduced to 310kph in actual service

3:11 That Japanese bullet train in this video is actually the H5 series, which debut in 2015. This train is owned by JR Hokkaido in Japan and it's serving the Tohoku and Hokkaido Shinkansen lines. ORIGINALLY there are have 4 10-coaches trainsets, however unfortunately one of four sets has retired and have been SCRAPPED in 2022 after a derailment in the midnight earthquake someday at March 2022. Everybody thinks that derailed trainset can be repaired and return to service, however due to safety reasons and any concerns about the body structure, also because of high safety standard in service operation, JR Hokkaido, the owner and JR East, the designer of E5/H5 series decided to scrapped that train. It's BIG BROTHER is E5 series which the middle colour band is pink, while the H5 trains is lavender violet.

Lazar you can call the Japanese bullet train the e5 if it has pink stripe or h5 if it has a purple stripe. The first Shinkansen an 0 series( at NRM in York) was released in 1964. The Shinkansen in game was released in 2011. I believe it is the worlds fastest operational train on wheels, that consistently hits its speed.

Nope the fastest train on wheels is The TGV, E5/H5 Hayabusa top speed is 320kph which its also operational speed the fastest operating trains in Japan but if we look at the top speed the N700S of Tokaido Shinkansen is faster it can reach up to 360kph

The E5 series reached about 400kmph max speed during testing. The Chinese CRH went all the way to 486kmph and the TGV is even faster than that at 574kmph. The Japanese bullet train won on acceleration alone.

I have only ridden one out of these, the Japanese bullet train. I have ridden many in Japan and they are really good because they are on time and really smooth while at speed! They also have a really good safety record with trains only derailing at low speeds or during earthquakes while stopped, the trains can detect earthquakes and stop before they hit. I’ve been in trains that’s stopped in the middle of the train line, and I felt an earthquake, and after it was over, we got moving and we were only delayed a few minutes 😅 Really good service! I don’t have anything to compare too as far as riding experience, but I have always thought that the TGVs are a beautiful train!

​​​@@IndigosClothing but if you try to Look at a bit closer The Acela is quite large, But by all means, If you were to put a American made GE locomotives like a dash 9 or a AC6000CW beside those, The GE locomotives would dwarf those speeders. But we all know American loading gauge is large, locomotives being around 17ft down here, so wouldn't be a Surprise that even the acela is large.
