As a user of this company's clubs I am very pleased. They are well-run little company and deserve some successes and publicity
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
Hey that's awesome. Maybe I'll try to get my hands on some of their clubs next year and review them
@kevinsevernak7523Ай бұрын
I bought a full set of Lazrus hybrids 1 through GW in August ... They have revolutionized my game ... Haven't tried the balls yet but now I can't wait for weather to break to see how they interact with their hybrids
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
That's awesome. Hopefully I can test their clubs one day too
@jonnyappleseed5305Ай бұрын
I am shocked and pleased that this ball did as well as it did. I feel like Lazarus has always shown up in a surprisingly positive way for the amount they charge.
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
I also thought it was kind of neat, they included a note in the ball order that personally asked that their customers do word of mouth. That way they can keep their price lowers. Makes sense
@gabrielpennington7166Ай бұрын
I play a lot of solo rounds, and this would be a solid ball to use on those days in order to save the higher dollar balls for more competitive play. It seems like it would be a fair simulation of the premium balls at the 2 piece surlyn price and would make those practice rounds more transferable without making them more expensive.
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
Yeah I could absolutely see it as a good practice ball. Good feedback and great performance if it's solid.
@aaronpalensky8456Ай бұрын
Another good one. Can’t wait for top 100!
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
It's going to be an awesome one 😎

Just saw Ram Tour Spin. Same compression as legato and golf monthly and national club golfer have good things to say about them. 3 dozen for 50 bucks. Could be an interesting review! Love your stuff man. Keep em comin!
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
Thanks for the heads up. I took a look at them but I hate that you have to buy multiple dozen of each golf ball. I don't know why they don't do a trial pack. I think they offer like three or four different kind of golf balls
@stevenagy9441Ай бұрын
Great review, as always! One thing I've noticed is the new, lower angle you use to record your chips. It's a cool, fun angle, but it doesn't help me to SEE the spin you say you're getting, green side. The way you've previously shot video of your chips made it a lot easier to see the spin you're evaluating. It's a small detail, but I think it's worth mentioning. Thanks, as always!
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
Nope that's perfectly fine. I appreciate the feedback. Seems like most people don't like it. I'll go back to the old way
@mattharvey968Ай бұрын
I was one of those who were asking to review this ball. Glad to see the review. Although it might not be for my swing speed it’s good to see another DTC product get a good review. I do use their 7 wood and is actually a very solid club.
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
I've heard their clubs are an amazing value. I hope I can test them one day
@BrettPittman-e1qАй бұрын
Great review! I have seen Lazarus golf clubs ads before. I didn't know much about them. Thank you for reviewing the golf ball. Maybe a little to firm for my liking. I like the "That was a good one buddy" ! Than a golf ball reminding me of a DI .... lol Thanks again for the great review. Look forward to the Spaulding review. A name I haven't heard in years.
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
A lot of similarities between the Lazarus and spalding. You shall see soon
@TrumpetJazzmanАй бұрын
Picked up a dozen the other day because I couldn’t resist price, was hoping they’d play a little softer, especially with the colder temperatures here in Massachusetts. Hit a few shots and they felt firmer than I expected…need it to warm up to want to test them more! 😂 Meanwhile, got some Pinnacle Rush in part because of your review and been very impressed, price is right and ball is very consistent! If you get time, you may want to add the Spectra Zero Friction to your “to review” list. I got a box basically to get a very high visibility ball when it’s getting dark on course and because of positive reviews, and for $18 on Amazon now, I feel I got my money’s worth. Remind me of the Callaway Supersoft. Keep the great reviews coming!
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
Thank you very much for the feedback and kind words. Yes I definitely don't recommend the Lazrus for a cold weather ball. Definitely a little firm 😆 The Pinnacle Rush indeed is one of the all-time favorites when it comes to two-piece. It's like a toyota, doesn't blow me away but it goes forever and never breaks down. I've actually already reviewed that ball. It wasn't bad, my favorite was the driver performance. Really long and really straight
@melnor82Ай бұрын
Look at you with the 2 camera setup! I see you. Keep it up!
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
I appreciate that. It seems like most people aren't enjoying it though. No biggie, all about trial and error 😁
@jakeyoon64Ай бұрын
I agree with you. If the ball feels softer and plays more forgiving, I would give it a try. One suggestion. Can you kindly cherry-pick some of your favorite balls tested earlier in the season and test them again since your swing seems to be more faster? i.e. Legato LTX3085, Vice Pro Plus, Titleist ProV1.......
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
It'll have to be next year. I'm so booked for the next month or so with golf balls trying to get in the top 100. But I have no problem redoing that and testing some golf balls had to head next season
@StripedGolfАй бұрын
Great video man looking forward to the top 100 golf balls of 2024
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
Thank you so much. It'll be here before we know it
@starks1974Ай бұрын
Sounds like I'm sticking with my Legato. Thanks for the review! Future testing idea, iron test a super game improvement to blade and see how the best forgiving balls do with different type of clubs. That would certainly provide great content and how the golf balls perform based on head styles. Thought about it after watching the AskGolfNut channel and he shows club head heat maps. Then thought how the golf would also make a big difference where you may not be as penalized on a toe shot with a 75 compression ball vs 100.
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
Hey that's pretty good stuff. I'm actually getting a blade set in soon so I will have a prime opportunity to do that
@SasquatchN64Ай бұрын
Great review! I just need a good 2 piece that won't explode like my cut reds... Wilson zip needs to come back
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
Definitely keep an eye out on the top 100 when it drops later this month. Going to be plenty of great two-piece golf balls in that
@jimnewton5904Ай бұрын
This ball does what I like, and I love the RPM, wedges around the green will stop !
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
Yeah really impressive RPM spin for what it does. Can't beat it with a price like that. I feel like if the cover was a little better the spin would be even greater. But I get it they got to cut a corner somewhere

Now it's time to review the Mazel 3 piece urethane golf ball. $17 a dozen on Amazon.
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
Never heard of it. But I'll definitely look it up. Thank you so much
@johnjohn1cooerАй бұрын
For the low price you are not sacrificing too much. It is not a ball for my swing speed but it has been tested, you have given the results, viewers can choose.
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
I wish decathlon would ship to the US so I can try out the inesis ball again
@brich2065Ай бұрын
I'm sure I'm missing something but this is a specific and general request. 1. Could you maybe do a series of 10 recommendations by game type/golfer type/SS or whatever categories you choose. 2. Have good friend around 82 who is disenchanted by loss of speed and distance. Want to get him a ball or two to try. Trying to sort through your reviews to see which may be most helpful. 2 to target?? Thanks

Maxfli is the best line of cheaper golf balls. Tour s, straightfli. Just tons of value and great balls
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
I would say maxfli is an incredible value mainly because you know the quality is good and also the amount you're spending as well below other market value. They've done a great job of that over the last few years
@shaunmac3397Ай бұрын
They really are decent balls. No way I would pick up 2 boxes of pro v's over 4 boxes of tour s or x's. Same price if not cheaper and performs as well as anything out there
@xNEVERBORNxАй бұрын
I loved the Piper Black golf ball. They were around $26 a dozen. It was a 3 piece urethane ball. It looks like Piper has gone out of business. TEMU of all places still have the Piper Black occasionally. They had them for $18 a dozen not long ago so I bought six dozen!
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
I had every intention of testing the piper golf balls. But I agree with you, I've heard from multiple avenues that they are going out
@tonythaiger93Ай бұрын
Have you tried Prime 2.0? It's 2-piece urethane golf ball? It has pretty good review for $20/dozen
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
I have. It's a good golf ball. The only issue I have with it, is that the get sum (imo) is a much better ball at a cheaper price. The get sum was a top 4 golf ball last year. 2.0 is good but no where near that high
@moonlanding-69Ай бұрын
Velocity is my ball at 87driver speed 220-230 easy. PW 135 into greens and holds.
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
Yeah that's a great ball for explosive mph. I wish it launched a little higher for me but for a slower swinger that might work out in their favor
@shawntaylor7442Ай бұрын
Probably not gonna use these but appreciate the review. Sidenote : if you ever get around to merch a Swamp Donkey should be in your logo in some kinda way. Maybe with the Everglades as a backdrop 🤙
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
That's actually really good idea. One of the best I've heard actually 😎
@shawntaylor7442Ай бұрын
@GolfBallAddict happy to help. Always get a chuckle outta that 😉
@scottdean27Ай бұрын
I think your merch would be well received if you incorporate the cat into the logo. You should put the cat in the background every time you go outside. A lot of people love cats and even the people that don’t love cats, most still at least like cats.

Do you have any information on the Eagle Ace Drive golf ball from Amazon? It’s very low cost. Curious how it plays.

I'm confused by your $20 per dozen comment. Lazrus own website lists the L3R for $39.97 per dozen. Their Black Friday 30% off special brings the price down to $27.98 per dozen.
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
Amazon.
@supersonics3558Ай бұрын
For especially balls like this coming from suspicious Chinese factories, I highly recommend you test this batch but get another batch from another website and see if the ball plays pretty much the same, whether thats good or bad. Hard to see consistency when the brand doesn't know what its doing.
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
I'll probably mention this in the top 100 review, but I wouldn't honestly expect too much in the way of consistency or quality when it comes to a $20 per dozen golf ball. Same thing with the Spalding, my golf spy said that there was some major issues with them being round. That's also why at the end I mentioned how sometimes it's better to get a good quality two-piece golf ball than a cheap urethane golf ball
@23x31Ай бұрын
Hard pass on this one. I'm still looking for other balls to try that are similar in feel to a Chrome Soft and a Legato 3085. Those are my new my go-to balls as I've switched from a Pro v1. Getting older and these balls really fly well for me, especially off wedges and short irons. Love your reviews! Always look forward to them.
@woodiebeardsley1098Ай бұрын
MaxFli Tour S👍
@23x31Ай бұрын
@@woodiebeardsley1098 Maxfli Tour S are on my list to try. My only concern is the lower spin which also means lower flight on full shots. I'll probably pick up the 4 dozen deal and if I'm not crazy about them, they'll just wind up in one of my shag bags.
@stevenagy9441Ай бұрын

Where did you get these for $20/doz? I did a search and, on their website, they sell for $39.97/dozen.
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
Amazon.com. I have no idea why they are double the price on their own website
@supersonics3558Ай бұрын
Just a thought but why don't you make your own brand? I can get you the best TPU premium ball out there for d2c brands.
@GolfBallAddictАй бұрын
That's eventually in the cards. I thought about it many times. Ultimately the goal after I reviewed every golf ball and get a better understanding of how they work I plan to have my own.
@supersonics3558Ай бұрын
@GolfBallAddict You know Titleist could sue all of these d2c brands and run them out of business. They're not doing so since sales they make are too small to even bother and since its hardly a threat to them
