Super painting Yovette😍😍 I'm a fan of water mixable oils too. Great for beginners and so easy to clean up especially if you short od space for thinners etc. And yes, as a right hander my left side trees always look a little more natural. Maybe I should change hands for the trees on the right 🤗🤗
@PaintingWithYovette2 жыл бұрын
LOL, 🤣 I tried to use my right hand once in a while to paint trees, Paul, and it is really something to laugh at. They do not turn out nearly as well as with my left hand. But for someone who may be amadextras, it works really great. Have a great day Paul. 🤗🌺

Hi Yovette! Steve definitely had his dad's touch. Yes, those water-mixable oils are fantastic. Your landscape came out beautifully. I love your thick palette knife texture in contrast with your delicate foliage in your mountains, trees and bushes, and your smooth water. Beautiful use of hard and soft edges, and thick paint in contrast with your inky smooth flowing paint. The red did spice things up!! Take care Yovette and have a wonderful week.

Another great painting! Santa dropped off a set of oil mix oils (not ales!) and will try this painting! This lesson is most interesting bc you didn’t like the tree on the right and you had a “fix” for it! If that happened to me, I might’ve pitched the board or scraped over it and painted something else, using the board as a “toned board”! Your experience made the painting work! Thanks again! Have a wonderful day! 37:45

So, Yovette, is a chip brush always natural bristle? And if so, how to clean since I now use WMO?
@PaintingWithYovette2 жыл бұрын
Hi Irene. A chip brush is a bristle brush. And I clean it with soap and water, just like I do my other brushes. As a matter of fact, I clean all of my brushes, no matter what kind they are, with soap and water. Natural synthetic or bristle. Hope that helps dear.

@@irenemorrison2728 No, I did not like that tree at all. 😓 The birch in front of it was much better. Covered it pretty well. If you have a Harbor Freight in your area, they have the best price, 59 cents each. Or buying in bulk on Amazon has good prices too.

Well, I’m done. After doing research and buying a Winston Newton Artisan synthetic hog fan, it just wouldn’t work. I ended up using a (you are gonna love this…) filbert brush for the trees. @@irenemorrison2728 It thrills me to hear you are happy with you painting Irene! So happy for you. It is a fun painting to do. The filbert I use is a Ross and it is pretty old so it makes great trees. I find a lot of brushes that are old and well used give better results sometimes. 🤗

Здравствуйте, я хотела спросить, может я не ошибаюсь, так я смотрю ролик с переводом.Какие краски масляные разводите с водой?
@PaintingWithYovette Жыл бұрын

@@lumateo4534 A lot of painters start out by teaching themselves. It is a very good say to learn Lu. I don't give private lessons any longer, I just teach on KZbin. May I suggest that you start following my videos. Pick one painting that you really like, and go really slow, and paint along with me. I teach pretty detailed, and I don't go very fast. I think after painting with me a few times, it will help you advance. If that does not work, there are a lot of teachers on KZbin that maybe could help you further. Is that workable?
