Sundays are the best! Pull up a chair and hang out with us as we make some BBQ pulled pork.
We used a 7 lb pork butt for this cook. Seasoned with Kinders Hickory Molasses seasoning and SPG (salt, pepper, garlic). I set the Traeger at 200F and let it roll overnight with Super Smoke enabled. In the morning, I bumped the temp up to 225F for a few hours and finished with the temp set at 250F for the last couple hours. Once the meat hit 190F, we let it rest for about an hour before shredding. All in all, the cook took about 16 hours and it was well worth the wait. So good!

Super easy. Just sliced potatoes and onions, drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and top with cheese. Wrap it up in foil and put it in the oven. I think we did 400° for about 30 minutes. We’ve done individual packs before so everybody could do their own toppings. So easy and so good!

So much fun! I have to totally agree 💯 with your title. The best Sundays have to do with family time and food 😊 Jeff is too much with the time change fact. Listen I always wanted to know so thanks 😂 This year for Thanksgiving we’re going really Puerto Rican 🤣 rice with pigeon peas and ham, beans, elbow pasta salad, pork and flan for dessert 🍮 since we’re doing breakfast for Christmas. Really looking forward to family time 😊 We’re a roasted vegetables family too. They come out sooo good. Thanks for sharing your day with us! Have a blessed week 🥰

You mentioned Sam’s and they have amazing smoker pellets for 1/2 the price. Instead of using the name brand! But all looks wonderful!

My husband loves to use his smoker for pork. We have it often becuase he loves to bbq on the weekends. We stock up on meat when it is a good price at costco. Then we will make charro beans with it and then later in the week we will use it all and make pork burritos with the charro beans in it. So good and love double meals. Lazy Sundays ARE the best. :)

My son has a tregor and loves it. My favorite is when he does hamburgers with blue cheese in the middle. We catch salmon all time and I love smoking that. Have you ever tried turkey breast or cheese? Both are amazing!!! Yummm... Never thought about smoking cream cheese. Going to have to try that. What do you put on the top of it? I hope you enjoyed your dinner 🙂

Done a whole turkey before. For the cream cheese, I diamond cut the top with a sharp knife. I only cut about halfway through. Then I coat it with olive oil and some seasoning. I really like the Kinders woodfired garlic, but I can't seem to find it any more. This time, I used the Kinders Hickory Molasses. We've also done cream cheese with Twix seasoning (yes, Twix candy bars has a seasoning. LOL) That was really good with graham crackers.

Love some smoked meat, especially a Brisket. It's amazing in the end to taste all the hard work that goes into it. I just wish it didn't take so long! LOL We use the Hickory Smoked Wood Chips & the Jack Daniels Chips. I always season my Brisket with just Salt & Pepper. I only have a Charcoal grill that we transform into a smoker.

Nice! Before the pellet grill, we had a Char Broil smoker/roaster/grill and I smoked with wood chips in that. There’s a lot of diehard BBQ guys that only use real hardwood, but the pellet grill is just so convenient and easy to use. Set and forget.

We've got a Char Broil. We can buy the attached smoker box, but we find that when we smoke meats, it's easier to use the full grill & easier to clean & everything. My only worry with the pellet is that it will burn b/c I forgot to come out & check it to see if it would need more pellets. To be honest, I don't know too much about Pellet smokers. I may have to look into one, though.@@OrganizedChaosCrew

Most of them have low pellet alarms. I gotta say the Traeger app is far superior to the app for my old Cuisinart smoker. I never have any issues with it connecting and the pellet monitor gives an actual percentage of pellets remaining instead of just telling you it's low.

You should definitely get a Bluetooth meat thermometer!!! It gives you appropriate cooking time, Temps and let's you know when your meat is done. You stick the thermometer in the meat as you would any other meat thermometer, and you set it up on your app. No guessing, no opening the door and loosing that heat, which makes cooking times even longer. Xmas is right around the corner...

The Traeger has a probe and it integrates with the app. I usually use that. I have been tempted by the Meater Bluetooth probes, though. They look super nice and no wires to mess with. Which one do you use?
