You call out Incendiary Dark Army as helping you get fire DoTs for Running on Fumes, but Joltzdude139 said in his item guide video on the Dark Army that the drones do non-elemental damage until you reload after completely draining the magazine by shooting. Was that information incorrect, or are you leveraging some other mechanic to get Incendiary DoT effects?

@@penguindrummaster The core bullets of the gun will be fire regardless. If on foot getting flame to proc, you can swap guns for fire instead, or just lean on big surplus and grenades. the dark army inside of iron bear yeah those drones shoot non ele, so the element of the dark army doesn't truly matter. however the drones can crit, get experiment munitions, and give us fire dots while in iron bear that way. Which is why we run dark army to begin with. So you could use say a corrosive dark army for this and it wouldn't make a difference. the fire one is just so i can more often proc flame without swapping.

So immortal bear, but not infinite haha. My question is when you’re fighting the mid boss on their last health bar, why do you get close to shoot them? Do the shock rounds chain to you back to them for extra damage?

@@randomgengar Yeap! I can phase ana in 1 volley from range but i need to hit a crit with both arms which is very difficult to do, so i get close to bounce the chains between me and the boss.

Hey I know this is really late but I've been enjoying this build a lot and converted it into an iron cub build which seems to be working so far I haven't tried the full build yet since I started a new moze and using a bear trapper mod just wow my iron cub is out for so long

This build is stellar fun, just walking around and zapping - tho some aim is needed for rail gun. Having schlooter on and anointed does requires popping out to break them for schlooter drops, rendering a bit of sitting duck situation unless cool down comes back quickly

Since I am on console, I am very tempted to suffer through the story mode again on a new Moze, just to replicate this. I've always wanted to try and find a balanced Moze that has Moze damage, IB damage and uptime. This seems to be a good step for IB setup. Nice job

I noticed you said that stoke the embers doesn't help that much for iron Bear??? I thought stoke the embers was a really good skill and corrosive sabot rounds do splash right??? so that should give a nice juicy bonus too skag den when corrosive sabot rounds explode and deal splash damage!!!

Messing around with this. When I equip a Mesmer grenade, my damage nearly doubles? My understanding of Game mechanics is decent, but not comprehensive enough to be able to explain it.

For someone starting from level 1, is there a 'best' order to complete the skill trees, or is it a case of get X skills first, then complete when you can?

Go whatever route you want. But here is what i say is "optimal" Blue true until level 12/13. respec for cap arms in red. Return to blue tree investment until 28/29. Respec for cap arms + specialist bear. Then do blue followed by purple. Maybe leave torgue cross till last and the 3 extra skag den points till last.

How did you get a Snowdrift with +27% percent movement? I don't think I've seen one with over 20% on Lv72 M10.

2 rolls. A few passives can stack twice. Cryo damage, fire damage, radiation damage, movespeed, melee. maybe another but those i remember.

@@NekuKodoku Not true. There are primaries of every passive. Only a small few can stack twice. Example "loaded" is primary mag size but double mag isn't possible. "Ravaging" is area of effect damage, double AoE isn't possible. etc etc.

flame bypasses cooldown rate so that's pointless. Action skill damage, splash radius, splash damage In that order, imo. Max health also impacts IB but not super good.

I'd use the Bear Trooper or Raging bear class mod. And the extra skill points in the base trees to better your gun skills so the now longer Downtime is less painful

Hey there I saw your Moze build on KZbin I'm liking it so far only one thing is I don't have the class mod that has the flair in the purple tree I only have the reinforced flare and flare bear so I can get down to the bottom of the purple tree how u have it I'm still kind of new at this appreciate any feedback and I like like your build 👍👍

i'm guessing you're talking about the purple tree capstone? The skill at the very bottom of the skill tree? Don't worry if you can't work it into your setup, it's not necessary. All that skill is going is increasing our action skill duration. However the Flame classmod itself lets us mitigate the cooldown of Iron Bear anyway. So while nice, you can live just fine without.

If you respec do you have 70 points or 69? heads up Nitro engines in purple tree tier 4 should only have 4 points in it, not 5. the class mod makes that unclear.

I do really love this build, mine is horribly imperfect right now, 3/2 Eternal Flame w/ no valid passives, a radiation Dark Army (at least it get's incendiary from natural splash interactions), and I've only found one grenade with a singular flamer type... Artifact slot doesn't help iron bear, which frees up the slot. Banjo procs chains that get fire bonus elements to help proc the flame class mod for instant cooldown.

Shots = shock chains from banjo = big surplus = fire dots = flame = more iron bear. Because artifacts don't help iron bear itself too much, we can run the banjo to get us back into iron bear a tad quicker. overall its a cool thing that i latched onto when leveling the character after getting it to drop as i passed by. but its not like a core mandatory part of the build. It just helps consistency.

That seems odd. That anointment is quite common in my opinion. With the Re-rolling feature though it's not like you need to farm overly hard for a hex with that anointment.

i'm confused, you say to take the skill for ignite chance and then you say to equip a grenade that randomly spawns grenades when you get hit, but then in the footage, you have a radiation grenade equipped instead. isn't "ignite" a fire thing? why do you have a radiation grenade?

Rad is for extra explosions. And those explosions, and the beams themselves, and again when they crit, get fire bonus elements from our tree. There's no fire hex so the rad one is the only option, and the radsplosions improve our clear rate too.

Imequipped a firestorm grenade instead. still unsure of what actually procs the ignite. I do see the armor regen from time to time. this is a strong build. i feel like a Juggernaut. it's whe whole "gain refen when you ignite the enemy" thing that confused me because i was looking at iron bear's weapons and none of them explicitly say they cause ignite status , wondering where does it come from?
