I loved the video at the beginning: Lili and her kittens sleeping side by side. ❤ Then it was okay when Nico was head to head with Lili, but it changed when he started playing with a kitten. He is far too big to play with those little ones. They must be terrified and I'm afraid that he might accidentally hurt them. I think Nico is lovely and he doesn't know what he's doing but he needs to be kept away from the kittens until they are older. Apart ftom the size difference they are not at the play stage yet - they are not even playing with each other.

I dont breathe watchin Nico bite d Kitties..when I was 10 our puppy was just playfully nipping @ me but his canine tooth got caught on my thigh! My Dad insisted I get d complete 10 or so (I think much more) shots cos @ our place twasnt requird 2 vaccinate pets! Dad was terrifie..didnt want to take any chances! I also find this very concerning. As I mentioned in response to a previous video, Nico is displaying territorial aggression and is going for the kittens' necks because that's their most vulnerable body part. I hope that the owner will stop just thinking of what will get him the most views and separate him from them before it turns tragic.

It's time to stop Nico entering the nursery box- he's decided the kittens are new toys and if something isn't done to stop him, one of them will get hurt. That said, I don't think Lili was asleep, but just lying there resting. Why do I say it? A cat's eyes aren't a good indicator as to whether they are asleep or not: my own cat Lilly sleeps with her eyes open. A better way of determining if a cat is asleep is looking at their ears. An awake and aware cat's ears will move as they pick up sounds, and if they hear you moving nearby, quite often one will be aimed in your direction. An asleep cat's ears don't react to nearby sounds... unless they disturb and waken the cat, that is.

Nico is still a baby though he knows what he’s doing, he just wants an affectionate mummy and possibly being jealous of the little ones. Lili also knows how Nico feels that’s why she’s very affectionate towards Nico. Nico still wants to be treated like a baby and feeling loved by his mum just like the new born babies.

Yes, usually males start mating at 6 months old but it can happen already at 4 months so thats why many owner neuter them at 4-5 months.. I hope he is by now because as he was born in november 2023 he is already 6 months old old.
