LBC: 'There's no growth in that Budget at all... it's desperate'

Following Chancellor Jeremy Hunt's delivery of the Spring Budget, business leader, philanthropist and founder of Phones 4U John Caudwell told LBC's Andrew Marr that the Government's approach to the economy was "utterly lacking" in inspiration and ambition.
"There's no growth in that Budget at all," said Caudwell. On the contrary, it's "designed just to catch a few extra votes" in a "desperate" ploy to reduce the loss of Conservative seats at the next General Election.

As a nation we are denuded of rights, trade, opportunities and a position of respect and influence in the eyes of many nations around the world. You helped bring about the financial reality that we now live in. Acknowledge your responsibilities and accept the reality and advocate for at the very least rejoining the customs union, the single market and retaining our membership and unequivocal support of the ECHR.
