Farage is only making plans for Nigel. He is looking to secure his future income by being a MP for the next session. Choosing an easy seat, which covers Jaywick, where Brexit promoters told residents to blame their poverty and problems on the Brussels bureaucrats, thus they supported Brexit in the referendum. If they haven't realised that they've been had and used, and vote for him, Nigel is looking forward to a guaranteed income and expenses for up to 5 years, with a cozy pension and, if voted out at the following election, I believe gets a year's salary severence pay. Plus, as leader of a political party, he's still able to continue his media appearances and keep banking the appearance money. Represent the people? No, it's Nigel looking after number one.

Agreed. What is essential in Clacton and Boston is that the voters who do not want Farage and Tice as their MPs unite behind their strongest opponent, and not split their vote, letting these grifters win the seats.

Mate the NHS is a TOTAL joke. I have been waiting for care for 16 months. I've had an MRI scan and been told it can take up to 8 weeks for results. 8 WEEKS !!!!! Let that sink in. In the USA, they can get MRI results within 2 days....to an app on their phone. We have to wait up to 8 weeks....then wait for snail mail. We are a pathetic joke. The NHS wasn't designed for a country of 80 million people, which is what we suspect we have now in the UK. We need it privatising , just in a better way than the US have done it.

Rhetorical question, obviously, since it's a prime requisite in the PM job description, and has been for decades. When in living memory have we had ANY government acting in the people's best interest ? A better question might be, is Nigel Farage likely to be better or worse than what we have had over the last 40+ years. Answers on a postcard please... Illegal wars, misinformation, the continuous he said, she said party blaming party, the endless promises that are never kept, should I go on ?
