Maths doesn't work that way. I'll keep it simple: If we had absolute zero movement of people, we have a naturally falling population (less than 2 births per woman). That means there would be a falling pool of working age people to fulfil the jobs. That means less tax being paid to pay for the services for everyone, and pensions of the larger age group that came before. That means either a higher national debt or lower standard of living. That means we absolutely need immigration to have a stable and growing economy. There is no respected financial study that supports the view that immigration has a negative effect on the country. At worst, it's break even. Hopefully that simple explanation dispels some of the ideology you seems to be operating under, but I doubt it.

@@zeb1801 You realise that when your not in a closed system and people can move, that when you overtax people, they move their wealth? This is exactly what's happening in the UK right now - excessive taxes is making all the wealthy people leave the country and no one is starting new businesses here - they're moving overseas to do business where they are treated better. Your idea simply leads to a race to the bottom. If people want to be wealthy, they must take responsibility for themselves - it's up to the individual to educate themselves and start businesses. Increasing taxes simply limits peoples ability to generate wealth and removes the incentive to generate prosperity. The real culprit of the wealth gap is the debt based monetary system - it is the root cause of the problem. It destroys the purchasing power of money over time, while pushing up asset prices as people with money buy assets to preserve the purchasing power of their hard earned money, meaning that people with assets get richer over time while those who don't have assets watch prices increase while their wages stay the same. If you genuinely want change then you should be campaigning for a hard mon ey system that is deflationary, not higher taxes. No nation EVER taxed its way to prosperity.

The English are a unique mix of those groups, yes, but we have been on this Island as a unique people for a thousand years we are a homogeneous group with those admixtures. I can trace my lineage back to 1090AD on these lands and so for a minimum of 25 generations my family have been building and contributing to this place. My heritage goes back to before records began.
