I wonder if Craig MacKinlay will still keep voting for disability cuts now? His voting record is despicable.

A very depressing and uncertain country to live in due to this government's neglect, lies and corruption.

It was nice to see Craig Mackinlay looking well but he asked for better prosthetics in the NHS, while this is great it's also another one of the things that doesn't get done UNTIL it has affected them.

Comparing the actual figures to a historic protected increase isn't the same as a "fall in living standards". It's a lie that many people seem to peddle to support their narrative. Inflation is damaging the the value of the pound but inflationary pressures can be influenced by an almost infinite number of external factors. Labour being at the helm will be terrible in other ways. Their solution is to tax everyone to the hilt. You may get an increase in currency value but the actual number of pounds in your pocket will be far less, essentially offsetting any benefit of a change of government.

@@manvbees the tax base remained at 33% for the last 2 decades till 7 bins came along what proof do you have that taxes will rise for the average person under Labour given you have no historical data to back that up?
@manvbees

@SlowhandGreg what proof do I have? Umm perhaps the entire history of Labour when they were last in power. They want to invest in public services and will raise taxes to pay for that. The alternative is they pile on yet more debt to future generations. Which will it be?

@@manvbees Over the last 2 decades till Sunak took charge the tax base was 33% so what evidence do you have that a Labour government would be worse than the current lot in terms of taxation for the average person?

@@SlowhandGreg if you go back to the last election, labour fully admitted their plans to raise taxes across the board. It isn't a secret. They admit it.

If there is an election in July it will likely be on the 18th or the 25th so that person's son will just scrape in to being eligible. 4th would be too soon - it would require Parliament to dissolve soon, which doesn't give much time for pre-dissolution washup. 11th is also unlikely since the 12th is a bank holiday in Northern Ireland, so you'd not want the count to go into that. EDIT: I was wrong - they called it for the 4th, an incredibly short washup period.
