I don't see why you make such a big deal about ganging up rough and finish operation on same tool number by shifting the Y AXIS and keep pointing out "This reducing cycle times by not having to index"... Dude these machines index in less than one half second.... And two times you cited this... Who gives a shit, you saved one second, on a big part, not a big deal.

Yeah, it's more about putting more turning tools on the turret so you can have more milling tools.
